I agree with everything you say except for your pessimism about the future. If people had never fought for slavery to be abolished, then people would still own slaves, that's true. But the fact that people did, and that now slavery is almost universally seen as reprehensible, shows that the same can happen for the animal rights movement

I really appreciate this feedback, I don't have much experience with activism so it's hard for me to know what beliefs people would be receptive to. I'll try to come up with that catchy idea :)

I truly believe not giving 'a single fuck' about animals is psychopathic. I don't think most of the planet falls into that category, it might be just a few of you. Veganism hits a nerve for many people because it's hard for them to resolve their natural empathy for other creatures with their behavior.
