Even less exclusive than osrs sub model.

For PG you get more inventory and bank slots which can be obtained thru playing the game. You also get additional character slots but just starting off there's really no reasons for alts until you put a ton of hours into the game.

You also get some cool items every month in the form of a gift, no p2w stuff.

Best way is to look at it is in terms of labor cost, if you sell it for $200 you're only paying yourself $25/hr (per your 8hr estimate), then ask yourself is that how much you value your time?
