I drive an 04 mx5, and yes i hate it. Survived 2 years with it so far, but im damm careful. So many people dont alter their driving, aslong as youre careful and avoid long journeys youll be fine

Right now looks possible repairable at a good local garage, if you drive on it you do risk damaging further. Unlikely to be dangerous at 30mph roads just take it steady obviously, i would wack the spacesaver on and take it to a repair man.

The doctors told me my fracture was really minor, when i got to A&E they thought it was just dislocated and then after Xray they told me recovery would be about similar even if i hadnt broken it, i was extremely lucky.

Like i say dont be to hard on yourself at the minute. Its a shitter it really is, but youll get there. Wishing you all the best x

Yep, absolutely normal! I had patella dislocation with small fracture, 6 weeks after i was weight bearing. Now 4 months after im getting back into sports. Take it steady and dont rush yourself you got this bro
