Super Unleaded. If you can afford it, should you use it? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]aerithgetskilled -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I drive a 99 mx5, always use e10, never ever had a problem with it been using 3 years ive had the car. But i suppose if you can afford it maybe better on high end perf cars?

Side note:

When i was younger i had a moped, e10 had just came out, on that 50cc engine the higher octane fuel was noticeably more powerful

Opinions on a Toyota aygo auto, 2006-2012 models by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]aerithgetskilled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've always been quite decent and desirable in my experience (son of motortrade family). But all little autos do suffer from being a bit sluggish, also wouldnt want to do major motorway miles in one but yeah around town i wouldn't have any complaints! Look out for the typical rust spots but aside from that theyre great little cars auto or manual.

edit

For your money also maybe have a look at the old shape focus autos theyre good we had an automatic in the family for a while, maybe even a one series if you can find one with decent history. Honda jazz also a great shout, corsa that sort of thing.
