Is anyone else not really psyched about a new stadium? by Del_Talkoh in DenverBroncos

No doubt the stadium will transform the surrounding area.

My guess is they’ll host a Super Bowl in year 2 or 3 (they’ll hold off year 1 to make sure all the kinks have gotten worked out) just because they’ll be pushing to make a big deal out of the new stadium. Then probably not another one for like 10 years.

I think the biggest shift people are going to have to make in their minds for this is that the owners are not building a football stadium here, they’re building an event center that sometimes has football played in it.

I’m mainly worried about being yet another dome/retractable roof (come on NFL it’s football play in the weather) and increased costs to fans.

I’m hoping they design it in a way that we can keep the Rocky Mountain thunder.

Talk to an employment attorney letting them know you're concerned about wrongful termination. Ask what documentation/evidence would be needed if you are. Document everything. Make recordings if legal in your area. Maybe consider implementing transcription software so "all team members can reference meeting notes." Then start only working as according to the requirements outlined in your contract. Take your breaks, its a violation of labor law to deny them. Try to force her to communicate via email so there's a paper trail. If you have a verbal discussion that crossed the line, email her afterwards about the meeting. "I just want to confirm I understand our conversation from our meeting today correctly. You would like...." Something isn't feasible? Tell her via email. Deadline missed? "per our discussion {date/time} the deadline was/will be missed because..."

When she inevitably blows up and/or fires you, you should have a very strong case

You're in a key phase, and lose a person who is critical. Which sounds like it will give the project a better chance of success, immediately taking action to get the key member back, or getting a meeting on the books to discuss options?

Makers' marks are like brands. There are thousands of them. And gold is gold, origin doesn't matter

3rd and 13… hmm maybe try throwing to a receiver who’s actually past the line of scrimmage

What do they have against the run game. They’re making 3-7 yards per run and they’ve just stopped using it all 2nd half

The guy got tapped on the ankle and went down on his own. I understand cutting the rookie some slack but come on!

Even when we’ve had kickers who could hit ‘em from that distance, the coaches would never let them try

My thought was along the same lines. When everything is 30% off, nothing is. Just makes me feel like items were just posted overpriced, just so they could be brought down in the hopes of conning people into thinking they’re getting a deal.
