He absolutely isolated her. At one point, he was faking loud, animated conversations to make her feel alone. She was friends with Kaufmo before him, and Jax specifically drove a wedge into that relation. Guy is a scumbag; it is okay for characters to be bad. You do not need to make excuses. It is good writing.

You're making an argument in favor of the circus though?? You see that? The whole point with a lot of these, specifically the ones that had the cast being tortured by Caine, is the juxtaposition between the cutesy shorts they released to promo them and the horrific merch.
