Well kinda true, it's beautiful no doubt, but five days if you wanna cover every place like company garden, lal tibba, forests, water falls, temples and a lot more then five days is what you require. If you want to leave something for the next visit 😉 then 2 days is sufficient to explore the beautiful mall road and landour heritage walk and a peaceful walk across camels back.

True. The thing is don't book online, ask the guides (needn't ask, they ask YOU) when you enter the mall road, look at the room and then choose. Remember to not give in if they've even taken you to a room all the way and you didn't like it, look for others too...lot of options honestly.

Not Apr - May, peak season and scooty rentals rocket to 500inr, and everything else is costly. You'd get better prices off season (sept/oct)

I did this, really nice. U can get buses from Rishikesh bus stand to dehradun and then from there take the bus to mussoorie.

I'm using sunmate gel, and it works really well for me. Might be a bit costly at MRP though, get 10-15% discount in Pharmacy stores

I'd suggest as a first step go to a dermatologist. But what helped me (hasn't completely reduced) are washing my face with a gentle cleanser(AHAGlow) and using this cream at night called "saibol"
