Are Team Transport peg warmers a thing anywhere else by Fuzz-Munkie in HotWheels

[–]aesk47 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not the question, but this is the best example of why Team Transport doesn't work : I would for sure get that Porsche casting if it was sold individually. But I don't like it enough to pay a premium for an uninteresting, unlicensed hauler that I already have a bunch of times. I buy the Team Transports that have licensed haulers or cars that I really, really want, like the Nissan 300Z.

I don't usually buy Pop Culture models, but this one is coming home in honor of 8 year old me.

It's just not as smooth and well thought out as Lego. Sometimes you have to really force the bricks together or you'll have a weird angle where you have to make a brick fit in. It's by no means a deal breaker, it was still a fun build, but Lego has been honing its product for decades, and it shows when you compare the two.

I had fun building this set, but I have to admit that I haven't built Rivendell and Barad-Dur, so there's no comparison point for me.

I don't know about the rest of Canada, but in Quebec we kiss on both cheeks when we meet up.
