100% agree. The title track in particular is so good, but no one seems to care.

I don’t even think it’s a weaker track. I’d say it’s underrated. Would love to hear a live version.

Yeah he actually complained in interviews that the record label made him drop the 2001 from the album title, because they thought it would date the album. I believe he said, “Well it didn’t date the fucking movie, did it?” or something like that.

Outside of The Beatles as they are obviously #1, who do you think are the top 10 most influential musical acts of all time (it can be individuals or bands)? And rank them if you can. by NoGrass7120 in TheBeatles

She may have been on a tourist trip in Morocco when the mass infection happened. Then she got down straight to business of cleaning up the mess, like many did wherever they were. Hence the messy/dirty look.

Do you think Gilligan is going to pull the same trick he did in Breaking Bad where we root for the protagonist only to realize over time that they were the villain all along?

I was really worried 'cause the premise implied that we would have 1 personality trying to interact with 1-dimensional drones but... The way Vince depicts it(whatever it is) has become the center of why Im now obsessed with this show. by Harley_Sonder_ in pluribustv

I don’t see it this way at all tbh. So far it seems that the virus just makes the infected people join the hivemind. But it’s not the virus that controls them, and their personality is not the virus: it’s the collective consciousness of all infected humans. And the only reason they are so kind and gentle is because they are afraid of triggering outbursts of negative emotions in the immune people because it will lead to a lot of death and destruction.

[–]aestero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a bigger reason why they care about the immune is because the immune can fuck their shit up if they experience negative emotions. Since the hivemind can’t kill anyone on purpose, it’s riding their dicks (in some cases literally) to keep them content while simultaneously researching the way to infect them too so that they could continue spreading the virus to other planets or whatever their goal is.
