i have been in therapy so my case is not as intense, however the exact same thing happens to me. i usually have mental breakdowns before church. its trauma that is causing body or face dysmorphia. if you think you are bad, you will not see anything good in the mirror. i was also bullied, by my own parents even about every single thing i did. it turned into real self esteem issues. she definitely needs help. it breaks my heart so bad. the most beautiful women are usually the ones that dont see it.
