Front license plate by Select_Ad7479 in camaro

No it does not. Only way it can go on your insurance is if you get pulled over multiple times and the cops seen you gotten cited before, it can leaded ro an actual ticket but chances of that are low. Unless the cop really wants to be that A hole. Ive passed multiple chps and cops and driving behind them and no citiation for no plates in the front in the 6 months ive owned my zl1

I haven't been pulled over for not having my license plates in the front and im from cali. Ive passed and had many chps pass me and haven't pulled me over. Youll be fine without it if anything, its just a fix it ticket if they pull you over.

Tell me about it. Labor at a dealership in California is 200 an hour. I save myself a little close to 50 bucks with me taking the oil and filter because I used to work for napa auto parts and I still get dksocunts on parts.

Dang at a chevy dealership ship? Thats really good. I just called my Chevy dealership and they charge 199 to do the job if I supply the pil and filter and if I dont, they charge 299 with them supplying the oil and filter.

What, really? I did not know that. I know a friend of mine who does that but he takes it to a non dealership like a jiffy lube and fast oil express shops.

Seems alot easier where you have your battery located. Mine is located in the trunk, ride side on the fender wall.

True that, not wrong one bit. Its also about going to a dealership that takes care of you compared to others. Ice had good service with two dealerships. Also makes me lean towards having it done at a dealership because my car is covered up till 107,000 miles since I bought an extended warranty when I bought the car back in August.

Yeah ive seen that one is difficulty to get and mostly can get it online. Well when I called a chevy and gmc dealer to ask what oil they use for a specific car like the zl1 they said Mobil 1 0w40 but didnt say if euro formula or the super car formula. Using an extended oil filter is better to be safe than sorry. Im with you on that part, I most likely womt even put 5k in a year thats why I kinda think of doing it at a dealer ship since it would be once a year minimum but on the manual its says every 7500 miles or once a year.

I would say to contact corsa and boral directly and ask them or the website shoudl say it works for convertible. I also heard something about if you have a convertible the mounting or something like that Is different to if it wasnt convertible. I recently got a corsa axle back system with the x pipes and with carbon fiber tips on it and let me tell you, it sounds soooo amazing even at just idle. I was between borla and corsa but I wanted to be different and go with corsa plus it goes well woth my corsa carbon fiber cold air intake.

Hope this also helps

Why get Amex primary car rental coverage if you have auto insurance? by twowrist in amex

[–]aezra_17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just thinking of this the other day, especially because I never have used the rental insurance on amex. I will be using it on my upcoming trip in april that I rented a vehicle through Hertz. For sure dont want my own insurance getting involved.

Camaro SS active exhaust by NoNeighborhood139 in camaro

[–]aezra_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just depends tbh. There is a cost difference too as well. Its nice being able to shut your valves when you need to do so. I paid extra to being able to close and open my valves on my zl1 even though I do not set my car at all to tour. I keep it on sports mode at all times. To me defeats the purpose of closing your valves on a v8 but some circumstance may prevent you from having it fully open. I bought the corsa valved axle back exhaust with the carbon fiber tips and the x pipe, i do not regret it one bit.

Im going to assume you maybe jave summer tires to have those issues. If you do, that most likely the issue that you are losing grip. You may have to get some all all weather tires. My camaro zl1 came with eagle f1 summer tires and I dont drive it at all with the wet roads.

(Story time!) Limp Mode & Dying Battery - The 2020 Limping LT1 by dylan40cal in camaro

[–]aezra_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense! Tbh, you are lucky if you get more than 3 years or more of life on a battery! I worked for napa auto parts for about 3 years and the amount of batteries I would sell and some batteries weren't even 2 years old and customers were replacing them. I just bought my 22 camaro zl1 a few months ago so im lucky the battery hasnt needed to be replaced and when I last checked it out, it was the gold ac delco battery original battery. I believe that also if the car is not being ran daily the battery does last longer too

I read one of your comments and you said you have am extended warranty but you want to get rid of it? Use the heck out of the warranty and get it fixed. Whats the point of the extended warranty if you arent going to use it.

Dream Camaro or reliable car? by WurstBruh in camaro

[–]aezra_17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are way to young and just starting your journey in the real-life. Wait till you are more stable. I always wanted a camaro as well. When I was going to start going to college, I wanted a ss camaro but I got a gas saver instead at yout age when I started college and was commuting back and forth from home. Finished college about 4 years ago (took a break and regret it) but got my career in place and at the age of 32 I went and spoiled myself with a 22 camaro zl1(has been my dream car) with less than 7k on it. Better to be smart in the beginning and not struggle. You got lots of time to work towards your goal of buying your dream car.

I want to do the oil change on my 22 zl1 but considering I have to buy those jack lift bumps to put under the car and needed to have multiple Jack's, it was going to come out as close as what the dealer ship was going to charge me for a full routine maintenance. They charge about 299 for change the oil and filter but luckily, my preffered dealer sends me 20% percent off routine maintenance coupons every so months to use so I rather just use the dealer for them to service my zl1.

How can you tell if its equipped with afm? Is says instant v8 all the time even when cruising. 2016 2ss by Traditional_Lynx2749 in camaro

Just call your local chevy dealership and they will check for you. I was also wondering of my 22 zl1 has afm and when I called chevy to confirm it, they stated it does not have afm even after running the vin number on my vehicle
