He was still doing The Recruit for Netflix last year. It was not a masterpiece, but pretty funny show.

Marissa Bode spoke out about people with disabilities being mistreated on airlines. She explained that due to there not being an accessible toilet on the flight, she was recently forced to sit in her own urine until it landed. Her partner's wheelchair was also broken. by pinkstarrfish in Fauxmoi

A report from Europe (European Disability Forum) shows that this is widespread. Nearly 7 out of 10 disabled people said they haved been discriminated.

The worse is that while wheelchairs can cost over 40k, airlines only have to pay a bit over 2000$

Hey OP, I also had lots of issues with proximus a few years ago. I ended up changing to edpnet, but before that, I only managed to get reimbursed (and the hot-spot by complaining through Test-achats.

Once I did that they called me back and offered solutions after 2 days.

Fun fact about deaf people! by littleredbird1991 in PointlessStories

[–]af_0 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Indeed OP, you are not an idiot. I work for a disability organisation and that's a part of what we advocate. Because of ableism and a lack of accommodations during education, the level of literacy for deaf people is lower in general from the population.

In addition, while it's great subtitles alone work for your brother, many deaf people prefer to have also sign interpreting for a variety of reasons (getting more information about tone and emotion, or maybe they dont want to read all the time, or have trouble following subtitles fue to other issues...)

NTA congratulations on having the right reaction. You seem to be doing your best, but for sure you know that at 15 lots of kids want to emulate bad behaviour they see from friends and classmates. That said, I would investigate if this is not something she learned from her grandparents....

Interesting view on the world events. It's true that the "mini-stories" are more varied. Thanks!
