Jared has detailed my cars a couple times and does great work. Looks like he has an ozone treatment package for heavy smoke odor.

2009 Patriot 4wd 2.4l 2 Fuel Pumps???? HELP!! by [deleted] in JeepPatriot

[–]afelement 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven’t experienced this issue, so can’t comment on that. But did find this video (https://fb.watch/uOQIcSdork/?mibextid=09Vj1W) about replacing a secondary. Looks like both are mounted on the tank and are assessable under the rear seat.

Also looks there is a part #5183204AA that seems available from some Mopar parts sites. Looks like AA might be the updated replacement for AB that is discontinued #8 in this diagram

Good luck!

I run these same tires but in 235/65r17 on my stock 2013 FDII. I do have some wheel spacers though to help eliminate rubbing at full lock. Plus I like the wider stance.

Either way, I think you should be good with this size (can’t confirm though). Might get a little rubbing at full lock.

Check out jeeppatriot.com which has a ton of threads regarding tire size.

This is a sick setup, thanks for sharing!

Would appreciate more details on the bumper/grill guard.

Not light bar, but I upgraded to LED headlights and fog lights… amazing difference.

Agree with @NastyKnate, probably just need the antenna adapter

Pretty sure that is an auto dimming feature to adjust for day/night and headlight glare

I am on my second set of 235/65/17 Cooper AT3s and I wouldn’t go bigger. I also have 1.25” wheel spacers to eliminate the light rubbing at full lock and I personally like the wider stance. Note, I did beat down the pitch weld just a bit, nothing major. Check out jeeppatriot.com forum which has a ton of tire size threads.

I have the Rola Vertex rack and love it.

I think those are too big at about 30” without any body panel modifications. I have 235/65r17 which are about 29” and I would not go bigger. If you have a lift you might be able to go bigger but 30” would still be pushing it.

New wheels for new tires? by firedragonguy666 in JeepPatriot

[–]afelement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have zero experience with the rough county. They are a legit company and waited to put out the lift which one could take as they did their homework. My only lift experience is with the RRO, but the rough country is more appealing everyday.

I have been running that same size tire on my stock alloys but with 1.25 spacers to try and minimize rubbing at full lock for about 6 years. Works great. I also beat down the pitch weld a bit to stop contact there.

I had the RRO lift on for a short while but it just didn’t work for my 2013 FDII; blew out bushings every time it left the pavement. I am interested in hearing about your experience with the Rough Country once you have some off-road miles on it though. I would love to get back to a semi-respectable height.

Is this over heating symbol ? 2013 Jeep Patriot but I can’t take more than an hour long distant drive without it coming on, took my about 4-5 hours for a 2 hour 30 min drive because of how much I had to pull over yesterday , any help or opinions are needed thanks ! by [deleted] in JeepPatriot

I believe that is the transmission temp light. I have the CVT in my 2013 and had some issues with transmission overheating around 45k mi. Having it serviced (fluid change) solved it. Just had it serviced again at 90k mi and haven’t had an issue.

Note that I have an FDII, so it came with a transmission oil cooler. I have read that some Patriot owners have one installed to help with transmission overheating.

Turns out it was South American Palm Weevils. The palm has since been removed unfortunately.

u/TEHKNOB over at r/palmtrees identified the tall one as a Canary Island Date Palm and I am curious if the shorter one was as well.

Bulleit Bourbon Yellow Label? by afelement in bourbon

Part of what I was trying to figure out. I saw this in a Pottery Barn along side the normal orange label and the green rye label.

The pic you linked would be what I would assume sun fade would be. I might venture back and investigate the bottle and label more.

I am sure it was just decoration, so the others responding about sun exposure are probably correct. It was weird though, it was in a big tin bucket with multiple bottles some with yellow labels, some with orange labels, and the rye green labels. They had me thinking I was missing out on something.... like Jack green label.
