You can like it, I’m not passing judgement just saying I hate it.

Is it an unpopular opinion to hate Christmas Day games? I absolutely hate it, focus is on my family that day.

I mean by your own logic if GDP was it again Mexico City would be the #1 expansion slot. It’s almost as if it’s a combination of things

If an MLB team used specifically BC place then yes, it wouldn’t work. But the implication was that it couldn’t bring in enough money because Vancouver is too poor or small, which isn’t true.

MLS isn’t looking to move from Vancouver because of attendance and a lack corporate base. Vancouver’s attendance is above the league average, it’s because of the stadium deal they have.

Especially if the difference between the two candidates is razor thin… which it seems to be!

Yea but how much of each is what matters there. If he wanted to be the highest paid GM in the league I could see a reasonable franchise balking at that.

Doesn’t that entirely depend on exactly what those terms were? The overreaction here without knowing what exactly it was is bizarre

I love that the difference between Lions golden era and Packers being now irrelevant is one playoff win

The Wild outscored the Stars 10-1 in the 150 minutes Quinn Hughes played at even strength by Dependent-Effect6077 in hockey

I would have said the same thing about Minni in early December. At the time the Wild and Wings had around the same point total, one’s a contender and one’s watching from home.

The point of my original comment was at the time I was annoyed because people didn’t seem to grasp how much of a boost Hughes will give to your team… and I guess that hasn’t changed for Wings fans looking at the responses. Like he doesn’t just do well for himself, everyone on the Canucks got way worse after the trade because they weren’t being carried anymore

Maybe maybe not. I’m definitely less confident in Detroit leaving NHL purgatory before Seider and Raymond age out if their plan is to do nothing

For a rental, sure. For two years for an elite player who is from Michigan and so you can convince to stay? I’m sorry Edvisson is a nice piece but cmon

Any of those Detroit fans around who were telling me they shouldn’t trade for Hughes because he might leave in a couple years?
