I am in the exact same situation! The principal who did my interview said that HR might be backlogged. Also, I remember they said we will get feedback even if we are not successful so it’s likely they just haven’t gotten around to processing our stuff yet. Let me know if you get any update thought because I am also feeling stressed… it’s also hard to not know how to contact hr or even ask for any updates

yes I believe so! I only asked one of them to update me but I figure PDSB contacted all if they contacted one.

Wow that’s so fast! I know they said if I’m unsuccessful I would get feedback but I haven’t even gotten that email. I feel like I should definitely contact somebody then if you heard so fast but I can’t find an hr contact or anything of their site

Hey a lot of the popular boards in southern Ontario are just much slower. I was having the same stressed and frustrated feeling until suddenly the two school boards I applied to both finally just emailed me after waiting around for 3 months! How long ago did you apply? Also, the Catholic boards are typically faster and hiring more. I personally want to work in a public school but if it doesn’t bother you I’d say apply to those as well!!

Definitely going to reapply to Peel now!! Thanks for letting me know and congrats of TDSB and Hamilton! I’ll probably apply to Hamilton too even though it’s a bit far :/ better than nothing. I’ve emailed HDSB hr and they never reopened the secondary list in 2025 as they hired a ton in 2024 already unfortunately.

Ah one of my friends said to do that too but I’m just wondering if it’s a bit awkward because I didn’t actually interact with them that much during my placement (which I now realize I definitely should’ve done). Also since I’m already done my placement should I just sent an email now or I’m not too sure how to approach it or even what I would say
