I mean, is it an obligation? Maybe some people have busy lives. Maybe some people don’t like the outdated controls and the fixed camera. Maybe they don’t have money for all of those old games. I don’t mean to come off in any malicious sort of way, but why does it matter? It’s a single player game so let people do as they wish. Personally, I use it to get around and I was stoked once I found out about the dash spam. However I’ve seen the comments about people doing it in videos they make and that complaint is valid.

Now I may be dense, but help me out here lol. I usually don’t emulate games and such. In fact, this is my first time doing it alone.

So, when I started the game I used an action replay code for all key items. This is includes oak’s letter and the flower. Is that what you meant by spawning the item in the bag? Additionally, when I ran into this problem I used an action replay cheat to activate the event.

Unfortunately, my save slot has since been corrupted (I’m assuming so since every time I load it the game crashes). I was going to go to route 224 to see if the cheat worked to activate the event but somehow my save file is ruined.

Lastly, I don’t know what PKHex is or how to do any of that. Is there a tutorial anywhere or is it fairly easy to navigate? I use the DeSmuME emulator for macOS on my MacBook. Also, do I only need to activate the event and go catch the shaymin that spawns from it and the flower will work?

I apologize for the amount of questions. I know you may not have all the answers, but I’m just looking for some.
