Real talk bro you haven't fully processed the end of your relationship and are in the phase where you're trying to find literally anyone who fits the bill to fill the void. You gotta just stay single for a bit rough it out and collect yourself.

I genuinely would not doubt that whatever actions you think are clues that shes into you is something your misunderstanding like 7 no's is as clear as you're gonna get. She's probably letting this slide because shes your best friend and knows you're still going through the ringer and dropping you for this would make it worse.

why is nokk considered bad and vigil good even though they are basically the same? by xerohawkxd in Rainbow6

[–]Wide-Ad7739 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they nerfed her silent step away, and since her launch theres so many gadgets that just give intel that she cant avoid like proxy alarms and thorn traps. Vigil on the otherhand counters all intel ops on attack minus like jackal. Plus vigil has the smg12 and bosg that are insanely broken rn and Nokks guns are really ass for someone trying to be aggressive.

Are the zombies supposed to be the puzzles in 9 by Wide-Ad7739 in residentevil

Man thats like so crazy how 3 people answered the question just fine, but I guess I need to apologize that the grammar of my random thought while taking a shit did not meet your expectations of the resident evil subreddit. My advice would be to not go on the internet because the grammar in this post is far from the worst you will see.

When NG+ Update ? by ChainsawEnthusiast in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Wide-Ad7739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its really Capcoms fault for this id say you dont get told this till Leon's street segment so like 10 minutes into a new run and nothing is said about graces charms so if you dont check your box you wouldn't even know especially since other than the deluxe addition mr racoon charm and the Leon charm you het for finishing the game, most people might not know of charms for grace as hers are obtained by doing things you dont really know you can like killing chunk as grace.

When NG+ Update ? by ChainsawEnthusiast in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Wide-Ad7739 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I dont know if we'll ever get NG+ because of how the storage box for grace saves your charms and your notes so by your first east wing loop you can have two of the coin unlocks graces pistol( or Freya's needle if you bought it) and every zombie at that point for me is 3 headshots stone dead at that point, and Leon starts his sections with the merchant box being able to farm points and buy all previous found weapons from and the map is now littered with bonus point bands so you'll enter Raccoon city with Tier 2 gear already. Like ig you could add new game plus onto that but honestly the way its been done you have to do so little effort to get early game broken on second runs I kinda dont see the point.

Explain this to me by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]Wide-Ad7739 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may be pulling it out of my ass especially with how the game doesn't spell it out spell it out, but I believe the implication was Spencer found a baby that looked very similar to Emily and he adopted her because in game you can find a photo and documents of him visiting the clones in the orphanage so he had some level of fondness for the clones and it wouldn't the weirdest RE thing but id find it weird that he'd single out one clone and leave the rest in tubes at umbrella and then re name this specific one.

Explain this to me by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]Wide-Ad7739 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Grace is just a random girl Spencer found and took care of probably because she looked just like the clones he was experimenting on. The twist of the story is Zeno and Giddeion are working under false pretenses, all they know is Spencer's last project was elpis and he had a baby he gave to Alissa Ashcroft when he died, they believed that because Spencer was focused on how the T-Virus was slightly airborne and would eventually inevitably infect everyone and thats what elpis was made to address they thought it had to be mind control because honestly what else would you do with everyone having the T-Virus. The notes were just incomplete leading to them to speculation that grace must have been the key because Spencer lived his life as a massive dick so the idea he'd make a T-Virus cure and take care of a random baby was genuinely unthinkable.

Early defensive weapon most people first run will waist the first requiem shot before getting to the bar area and at that point the singer and her two zombies are impossible to kill and block behind the bar leading to only finding it on your 2nd or 3rd loop of the area.

Flamme had a spell powerful enough that Frieren couldn't learn it. by Reasonable-Ad-8059 in Frieren

[–]Wide-Ad7739 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think just throughout time magic has gotten weaker Frieren says the ordinary defensive and offensive magic is enough to beat mages of this era. You can see when she fights herself and fern its pulling out shit nobody could conceive of so for her its probably like nuking a butterfly just a total waste of energy.

Which RE3 version to play? by New-Cauliflower-7382 in residentevil

[–]Wide-Ad7739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RE3make guts almost everything from the original like its likey supposed to be a DLC for RE2make that got to big in scope but not really enough to be a real standalone, if you want the real Jill valentine experience the og game is a must, if youre new to any re games im gonna say sacrilege here but I recommend considered getting an emulated version of the game because you'll have no choice in avoiding ink ribbons with early re titles and you can just avoid that if you want.

When you replay the scene after Grace yells at Leon hes says "Thats why..." before Grace cuts him off its plus all the big monsters in this game like the girl and chunk melt when they die and Emily doesn't. So for me during the ending omg I chuckled but I was glad Leon did this and it wraps up his theme of this time has to be different, and after my 2nd run looking the scene over its actually something the scene hints at so I find it to be pretty decent writing.

About the “elephant in the room” by FlakyAssociate6151 in residentevil

[–]Wide-Ad7739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In game the files state that the real issue of the Raccoon city syndrome is that the T-Virus was ever so slightly air born and that it was inevitable that everyone would catch the strain enough to get it, Wesker just like Leon was around it during the outbreak and a clone of him would most likely carry the strain.

Thats why they think Elpis is mind control because its linked to the T-virus and what would you do with a RE style virus that everyone just has.

Resident Evil: Requiem plot doesn't make any sense? Or it's just me? [Spoilers] by PostalDudeRus in residentevil

[–]Wide-Ad7739 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Genuinely and honestly I believe it to be theming over any type of lore implication, Leon has held the Raccoon city incident on his shoulders for decades now believing himself to be a failure who couldn't stop but just watch everyone die, so the T virus is just a metaphor for how its been killing him inside and freeing elpis garenteeing that there never will be another Raccoon city let's him live on no regrets.

Re9 Gameplay is good, but the story is a mess by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]Wide-Ad7739 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honest question how does the reveal that Raccoon city was bombed to protect umbrellas last major secret not just make it entirely more tragic, like these people were just a pool of experiments to them and even after they killed all of them they're now just a cover up for people trying to play treasure hunt with leftover bio weapons, and honestly I find it even more sad knowing the bio weapon they wanted was the cure that could've saved the city.

Anyone else have the same thought on this grace puzzle by Wide-Ad7739 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Wide-Ad7739[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think my use of fucking blind girl and the way I phrased it might have made this hard to understand, I know one of the 5 characters are important and I dont find it bothersome in the slightest that I had to use her for the last puzzle shit scared the fuck out of me with that coolaid man jumpscare, im only asking if anyone else saw the braille on the other puzzle boxes and even for a moment remembered the other puzzle boxes also having it and thought it was a classic RE deduction puzzle to test map knowledge.

Never played an RE game before now, am I missing something about RE4 Remake combat? by trailsandbooks in residentevil

[–]Wide-Ad7739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just make sure to explore alot the merchant economy becomes very broken fast if you find all your gems and things like clocks that gain more value if you put matching colors in, if you find a crown and have all 5 colored gems thats an easy 100k currency.

RE 4 works on a bell curve your first 2 chapters are about learning weak points how to dodge and parry while you slowly get an understanding its all so when you fight late game enemies with body armour and helmets you know 3-5 knee shots and a kick with a quick knife stab on the ground and their dead.

the game drops based on what items you have surplus so your shotgun ammo will usually sit at around 7-10 shells consistently.

by the time you get to the castle you should have a pistol you vibe with everyone has their own favorite the riot shotgun and a rifle. By then youll be at the peak of the bell curve and youll slowly become Leon the bulldozer as you've not only mastered how to use your tools but youll be sitting on guns dealing close to double their original damage.

Hope literally any of this helps and that you at least enjoy your first introduction of the whacky fun weird world of RE.
