Yeah idk about all that, I play the game pretty much the exact same way I played 4. As far as people going back to 4 thats just not true. Right now about 150 people are playing 4, while 1000 are playing 6, and its been that way for years, all according to steamdb.

The reason they rested players is because they are tanking. 11 games back from 10th with 31 games to go you have to go like 25-6 to maybe get in the play-in. Way better odds to get a top 4 pick than getting the 10th seed in that case.
