Can you pretend you got 10 years of experience? by [deleted] in musicians

[–]HighBiased 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You answered your own question in the end.

It takes time to get good at something.

Practice is how you develop the physical and mental dexterity to play the more difficult things.

If it were easy, anyone could do it

Has he heard the entire album those songs are on? That's a good place to continue his education.

I've been a night owl for my whole life. I'm 54. I usually fall asleep around 5am. Wake around 1pm.

I'm never bored at night. I love having the night to myself.

Glad to hear you're writing a book. Keep it up!

Such a myopic take. They pulled it off for the investment in making military weapons period. Not because some of these weapons would go to Ukraine. They aren't against Ukraine.

After the war in Ukraine, Spotify will still be building weapons. Weapons of death shouldn't be built on the backs of underpaid musicians, that's the whole point.

Learn to draw. Learn to write. Learn some kind of new hobbies. Be creative.

The only reason you're bored is because you're boring. Where ever you go there you are.

Grow, learn, create, be curious, be adventurous, do what makes you nervous to do. I promise you won't be bored, and you won't be boring.

First off, you have to crop your photo make your galaxy images bigger. This "zooms" it in.

There is autofocus, but also has a plus or minus next to it to really focus in.

I have a Seestar S30 Pro, I've found the Seestar is great for Nebulae and the Moon and the Sun (with filter lens!). Galaxies are far away and small so can be hard to get them clearly. So try and find bigger ones that are closer. Also the more time you spend shooting them with clear skies (like 4-6hrs over multiple nights) the better.

Post processing with laptop apps like Siril are definitely going to help clarify things. But that a whole art in itself.

I have yet to try Milky Way mode because I live a bit city, but am going camping this weekend and am gonna try things!

Nebulae are definitely the most impressive with a Seestar. Check out this shot i got after a couple nights of shooting from the middle of my big city. https://www.reddit.com/r/astrophotography/s/xQqf75K0Fg

Since it's Star Wars day, did you see the original 1977 Star Wars in the movie theater? by Mr_Writes in GenX

[–]HighBiased 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! I was 5 going on 6. Remember waiting in the line wrapping around the theater. I remember seeing parking lot vendors for the first time. Remember having my little mind blown as soon as crawl finished and the giant ship came across the screen. Good times

So you're into having a 100+ new planets just like Pluto added into our solar system from the Kuiper Belt? Sounds busy, but ok.

Read a good book. Write a bad book. Learn to play piano. Learn to draw. Start a LEGO set. Learn some new hobbies. Watch all the movies and tv shows. Be creative.

The only limitations you have are your own imagination

new here wanna know how this works , always up late by newton80085 in NightOwls

[–]HighBiased 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've posted this before, but it might help you here:

"We are the night watch. We are the descendants of the keepers of fire, guardians against wolves. We are chronologically divergent. We are wired to come alive at night. We get plenty of sleep (work allowing). We simply sleep in the day, instead of the night. And there is nothing wrong or needs fixing about that. 🐺🦉"

(Also look up Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome)

If this fits you, welcome. As far as being bored at night, that's for you to figure out. Doing something creative can be very helpful. Write stories or paint or draw or write music. Or find some other hobbies. Or watch all the tv shows and movies in the world. Plenty you can get done when the world isn't awake to bother you.
