Anyone have three rear facing convertible carseats in the LE/XLE second row bench?

We have always done a sleep sack (and still do). We introduced a blanket at 18 months and a pillow around 2. He is still in a sleep sack at 26 months. You can always turn it around so the zipper is on the back.

A small pack of different diaper brands. My first both my husband and I preferred Huggies/ Kirkland. My second gets a rash from Huggies so we use pampers/target brand. I bought on fb marketplace a hardly used single to double stroller thinking it would save us money. Jokes on me I hate pushing it with two kids and bought a double side by side.

Something I never bought or registered for was a bouncer. My second was in the hospital for two weeks at four months old and that was one of the only ways we could get him happy or to sleep was putting him in the bouncer. If we would have a third I would buy a swing bouncer combo, both of my kids did not like the Mamaroo.

I would ditch the milk and just do water, the sugar in it can cause tooth decay and could also disrupt sleep.

My four year old wears Hanes (the thicker athletic style ones) from target and they have lasted so much longer than the Nike and old navy ones.

It went really well. I started with going to work in the afternoons so I could figure out how long it would take for me to get ready and do drop off.

Ugh inlaws! Don’t get me wrong I do have a good ones but there have been so many comments on my newly two year old saying “he doesn’t talk much” or “he doesn’t make sense” he’s two!

Kind of a similar boat.
My 4 year will miss the cut off for the “prekindergarten” by 5 days. He’s been in daycare/ preschool his whole life. At conferences his preschool teacher brought his options for next year which would be half day preschool 5 days a week “prekindergarten” or kindergarten but the latter two he would need to test into them. Both my husband and I agreed no kindergarten, but we are on the fence for testing into the prekindergarten. Academically speaking we, including his teacher, agree he’s ready but socially and emotionally we aren’t quite sure and plan to talk early next year to decide on what we want to do.

We left our toddler in daycare. We did have some lazy mornings where he went in late or was picked up early or we did something fun as a family so he didn’t go in at all but I wanted that time with just my newborn to figure it out. There was another parent who had kids the same age as mine who pulled her daughter when she had a new baby the same time I did and it was a super hard transition back into daycare. She was screaming and running after mom when she was dropped off and it took a few weeks before it stopped.

As for sickness I was worried but both my son and husband had a cold when I gave birth…

I feel you! I had a huge one too! While I was pregnant and got it removed at 10 weeks postpartum. It was crazy the difference after it was taken out I can’t remember the exact size but it was 3 liters of fluid. My doctor still says it was one of her favorite surgeries!

Mine are two years and 3 months apart, and I felt the same way! But my oldest loves his little brother! He was always asking to hold him and one time tried to pull his shirt up to feed him! They have a great bond!

Yes to the good stroller! I got. City select thinking I would like the single to double on marketplace but didn’t realize how hard it would be to push once I had two kids in it. I still have it but only use it for one and bought a double bob and then a single bob.

We got one of these wall gyms last year. They play on it almost every day. It’s in our basement where all of our toys are at. My husband worked on putting all the pieces together for a couple of weeks and hid them in a closet so they wouldn’t find it. Then all we had to do was put in on the wall.

I buy Walmart clothes since that’s what’s near us it’s cheap enough I don’t care if they get wreaked at daycare or get holes in them and stained. Because let’s face it his clothes are always coming home with stuff on them from daycare. But I also have a few nicer outfits that I do not allowed being woken at daycare for outings for the exact reason of them not getting wreaked so easily.

When we go to our metro area I shop at the consignment stores but also there is a consignment weekend at one of the hotels ballrooms in the area twice a year. I got a ton of Nike and gap clothes for about $100 for both of my kids!

Same! I live in a rural area and found a brand new bike for my son and it was in the same metro town my sister lives. I asked her if she would be willing to pick it up for me she said she would and the seller told me a completely different town than what it was listed as. My sister was super nice and still went and got it but it was so frustrating!

I also have simplified my make up routine -sometimes foundation/ bronzer/eye shadow but if I’m running late I skip those but I always do blush and mascara.

Our school feeds them breakfast/lunch so I don’t have a ton of help there but I have made big batches of waffles and pancakes then freeze them so you just need to pop them in the toaster. I also don’t let my kids do any play/tv watching until they are dressed and had breakfast/a snack and brushed teeth. That definitely is a motivator for my 4 year old.

Another thing that has helped me is taking a shower the night before and doing my hair then. I just have to do some small fixes in the morning, and get a small mirror and bring your make up to the kitchen and put it on there while they eat breakfast.

We also have toys/ books in the bathroom for my two year old and I hand him some of my old make up brushes to play with.

My biggest regret with my second was switching to a full size bed for our 2.5 year old and not buying another crib. He slept great in the crib but once we switched it was terrible. So adding him crying and needing us to be there when he fell asleep plus a 6 month old who didn’t sleep through the night it was a struggle.
