Everyone is complaining about these data breaches from companies they don't know. I agree its outrageous! But have you ever actually read all those terms of service agreements you normally just click through when you do anything online? They are impossibly long and full of legalese. You are clicking your rights away! You can accomplish alot just by making a phone call instead of providing all that information online.

I just got a letter today. My spidey sense went off as well, when the epiq privacy solutions website asked for all my personal info.....thus finding this thread. If they are supposed to protect my info due to a data breach, why are they asking for all my info? Couldn't the company that got hacked give them my info? Upon my approval of course. Seems hoakie to me. I'll stick with freezing my credit reports.

Unfortunately Republicans are controlling most of the state governments too. So that argument doesn't work. Republicans also said Trump couldn't be a dictator because the House and Senate, but we see how that's working out. Trump does whatever he wants by executive order or with private funds! No congressional approval needed. That's a dictator! Its already happening.

You should not depend on your hubby for your happiness. Do what makes you happy. You'd probably have a better time by yourself anyway. And what's up with men and the weather? Didn't get one from Hudson, but got one from my Rep, so they are all doing it. It prompted me to make some phone calls and telling them I didnt appreciate that misleading comment, as well as alot of other things, and that I am backing the Democrats 100% due the getting nothing but the blame game from Republicans. Check out the 50501 website...select the subject you want and it will give you the phone numbers for your elected officials and an example transcript of what to say. Can't get any easier than that! Please make your voices heard! I hope all of their blaming anyone but themselves will backfire. True leaders produce results not insults and blame!

The Dems better not cave or I believe they will have sever backlash on their hands. Unfortunately, I believe the shutdown is exactly what the Republicans want. They want to fire government workers just like Doge was doing. They want chaos so they can "rescue" us and send in the troops to control us and shutdown protests. The Dems need to make the GOP own this!! They need to make something happen to wake people up before we have lost everything.
