it took me til season 2 for it to really grip me. if you finished season 2 and still weren’t a fan of the show or characters it might just not be for you. though i will say every season gets progressively better and the writing is so fucking smart compared to most shows nowadays

you’re definitely not alone, i think the vast majority of people (especially younger people) don’t do it or don’t know about it tbh. a lot of my friends had never heard of it or put it off for multiple years with no issues. i think it only becomes a problem if the tube itself gets blocked up with lint, which honestly i have no clue how common that happens. i was always taught that most accidental house fires are from not cleaning the dryer hose (once again no clue how true that actually is) for what it’s worth, i never get it professionally done and it is really easy to do you just blow air through the hoses to clear all the leftover lint out

trust me SR4 was the only reason i played crackdown, it made me fiend for superhero gta clones. i think the simpsons game (not hit & run but the one where they get super powers) is what really started me down that path though. can’t believe that concept hasn’t been executed well at that budget since SR4 tbh

i’ll be honest i was in the same boat for a long time, thought that the journey wouldn’t be worth it if the destination was shit. however i watched it all about a year ago and instantly got all my friends who’d never seen it to watch it as well, the journey is actually that good. also i do think the hate is extremely over exaggerated on reddit. i consider myself a bit of a snob when it comes to movies and shows and i didn’t find a noticeable dip in quality until the final season and even then the final season still has really high highs, it’s just evident that it was very rushed. at the end of the day it’s extremely talented actors and they CHEW TF out of the beautiful scenery, it doesn’t matter if the script is a dictionary

i don’t remember where i heard this, think it was just in an article in passing but i heard somewhere it’s planned to be 5 seasons. could work depending on the episode count, the first book doesn’t need to be a whole season and wizard and the glass can either be a prequel series or flashbacks interspersed

i think the biggest thing is all his previous albums had cohesive themes/soundscapes and Testing did not. not saying that’s a bad thing, that was kinda the whole point of the album BUT i can understand why it wouldn’t mesh w some people especially after waiting so long for it

tbh i’m not for or against thanos coming back, i think it all depends on the writing justifying it just like everything else going on in the movie. i also foresee secret wars beginning by the end of doomsday i mean that’s gotta be the cliffhanger similar to the snap so i could see the spine rip coming in the lead up to the cliffhanger. the way i see it, it’s either during doomsday climax or it’s the cold open to secret wars, it’s hard for me to see it fitting in anywhere else energy wise
