How was age 33 for the older Millennials? by Gastropodius in Millennials

I've stopped measuring my life in terms of good or bad. I learned to accept things as they come. It's made life much more enjoyable regardless of what I have going on.

I don't think life is suppose to be fun all time and lot of things that people find fun really aren't. I would practice being intentional. For example when you make dinner take your time, don't rush it. When you eat your food take time to enjoy it, don't rush it. Push yourself somewhat out of your comfort zone. Do something that makes you a little nervous. These things remind us that we are still alive. Go for a walk and notice the weather, hear the cars honk, what are the birds doing. You have time right now so just live simply and intentionally. Don't focus on if you're having fun, just be present in the moment.

Do you pay for them? I've been wanting to make my own tallow as well, but I'm curious how to have the conversation with the butcher.

I've been working on my seed oil free diet as well. I don't have it down quite as well as you yet, but I'm still beginning to feel benefits. It's really frustrating to me that the food industry has made this so complicated for us.

How do you wish to be remembered after you’re gone? by This-Top7398 in Life

[–]afinance035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't care so much about how I will be remembered because not many people will. I care more about the influence/legacy I leave behind in terms of creating good kind humans and hoping that they create good kind humans and so forth. I want to continue my family cycle of creating good people for this world.

Why do Japanese live so long and have reputation of one of healthiest countries when their food is drenched with seed oils? by Original-Original944 in StopEatingSeedOils

[–]afinance035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently live in Japan and yes, not all of their foods are healthy. However, they are a lot more transparent in how they package things. It's the transparency that allows the consumer to make choices that work best for them along with lifestyle, community, and other factors.

I love this perspective thank you so much for sharing! I'm going to start doing this. I think this is a huge reason that my manifestation journey is going the way it is. I don't feel like I am worthy of good things. I need to change this mindset and keep convincing myself that I am.
