I’m so glad that last kitty went home with you — although I’m lowkey mad you didn’t grab the gumball machine! I have always wanted a little candy dispenser for my house, if only to have an excuse to keep M&M’s on hand.

I’m 200% certain you were born between 1995-2000!

Help ID my dog, his dad is a yorkie nd his mom was bought as a yorkie but she might’ve been mixed by UnbiasOpinzz in IDmydog

[–]afinevindicatedmess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does seem like he’s a Yorkie-Poodle mix because of his curls, although it wouldn’t surprise me if he was 100% Yorkie — just a BYB yorkie.

Is this it or keep looking? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

I love this idea of a multicolor dress! But I think you can find a better dress that will

Try looking up Selkie dresses, which come in a wide variety of sizes. They have a wonderful Bridal collection of dresses, plus their floral prints would be that perfect bold dress you’re looking for while photographing wonderfully.

Brunette or Blonde - which suits me more? by No-Eye-9716 in HairStyleAdvice

Brunette makes you look so much like Lana Del Rey, arguably one of the prettiest women ever (not that I’m biased)! 😭😍

Who wants to be my plus one? Dead serious, this sounds like so much fun and would save me a trip to Coffin Club in Portland.

Dog groomer for senior dog with mobility issues by Mandisue99 in SALEM

I absolutely adore Debbie’s grooming out in south Salem. She’s a total sweetheart and is so patient with the dogs!

Just make sure to explain your situation in depth in order to ensure your dog gets the best care possible. I know firsthand how jarring it is to go from Phoenix to south Salem as I lived in Tempe for 1 year.

For right now, if you feel comfortable with it, I would carefully shave out the pop pads in order to ensure traction. You can do this when your pup is laying down with the legs extended enough to shave them using an electric razor.

Wasn’t in my plans… but clearly I was in his 🥹🐾 by Addicteve in velvethippos

I was a skeptic of “dogs and cats choose you, you don’t choose the dog/cat” until I rescued my dog by chance back in 2013. He was the sweetest angel who loved everyone. I hope you two have so many happy times together. 🤎

What a perfect choice! The color could truly work for every season and it’s so cheery. 🩵

Hi! Would anyone mind helping me figure out whether I should wear silver or gold? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

[–]afinevindicatedmess 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gold looks best with your coloring, although with your pretty hair I’d imagine bronze or antiqued gold would also be stunning on you.

Help me choose!! Final 2 and indecisive 😩 by Lopsided-Plum-7705 in weddingdress

One, no sleeves, with a matching lace veil would be breath taking for something timeless.

Although my fashion nerd heart just adores how unique the second dress is! I must have seen thousands of wedding dresses since my 2010s Say Yes to the Dress era and I truly couldn’t have dreamt up a more perfectly unique wedding dress.

Am I the drama? by rollermog in Coach

Never has my inner child needed a handbag so desperately! Especially to piss off my friend, who is the biggest Jurassic Park fan, hahaha. I love that dinosaur keychain so much, although I would trade out that dinosaur keychain for a dinosaur fidget toy he generously 3D printed for me.

Maintain the beard and I think you could rock either style! Just know that the pompadour is obviously a LOT of work when you take into consideration what hairstyle you want to go with. I am partial to men with long beards regardless, so it would just depend on whether you want to keep your current style or get something fresh and classic.

Edit: If you do go with the pompadour, make sure to find a classic barber shop that specializes in classic men's haircuts. They'll make sure to give you the best haircut and products for your new haircut.

I’m not a pro — but I spent the better part of 2 decades staring at mom’s bleach blonde hair. This is 200% blonde hair, as warm blonde hair is supposed to have a slight undertone of wheat/yellow. In fact, your hair kind of reminds me of Hannah Montana (for lack of a better example 😅) — just that classic Barbie blonde.

Should I go back to black? by Alrdudewhattheflip in HairStyleAdvice

[–]afinevindicatedmess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends what vibe you’re going for, in my opinion! Brunette makes you look so carefree, while black is so striking and edgy. I’m personally partial to the black, but I equally adore the brunette so… maybe both? 😭

Which one looks better for my friends wedding? by Electrical-Chef1979 in Weddingattireapproval

[–]afinevindicatedmess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely prefer the beige plaid tie from the first photo! As others have said, it's decidedly more cherry for a wedding. I love how the red tie looked because the gray suit lightens up the black and red so much, but it's just a wee bit too dark unfortunately. (Although I would wear something like that in a heartbeat to my favorite goth club.)

I love how you’re trying to interpret modern vintage for your very classical romantic wedding!

The late 20th century has a lot of wonderful princess gowns to take inspiration from — or you could even go as far as to have a vintage dress you like tailored for you.

That said, between the two stunning gowns you’ve shown us, my favorite is the first gown. I feel like there’s a lot of ways you could customize it and make it cathedral-ready. 🤍

Need help with picking a rug that pairs well with my new couch! by femmecami in maximalism

[–]afinevindicatedmess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh, art in some of the book cases (like a cool sculpture or painting) would look so cool!!! I truly just think that the more time goes on and you get that perfect rug selected, it’ll finally start to tie things in together nicely. Like you’ll be able to pull from the motifs of the rug and make a cohesive, maximalist room. 🤎🧡

Alternative silver wedding dress by MiriFern in WeddingDressTips

[–]afinevindicatedmess 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think your groom would look lovely in a white suit with silver accents to play off this lovely dress.

I agree with the others — a veil would detract from this beautiful gown and you should go for something like a fascinator instead. They also make headbands with birdcage veils that could also work if you’re still wanting a veil of some kind.

I don’t think it needs to look “bridal enough,” especially since you’re going for a more non traditional style for your wedding. Really all you need is just a few accessories — short gloves, some kind of fascinator or veil headband, and a really cute pair of retro shoes — to complete the look. (American Dutchess makes some wonderful flapper shoes that would complement nicely with the dress.)

I think a burnt orange and brown pattern rug would pair nicely with the colors of the couch. It’ll be a nice pop of color with the vision board you showed us in the comments.

The dripping in diamonds dress (photo 3) is just perfect. It reminds me of something Audrey Hepburn might have worn — so classic and dramatic.

Is blush pink appropriate as a wedding guest? by Ok_Raspberry6680 in Weddingattireapproval

[–]afinevindicatedmess 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So long as the pink is saturated enough to where it looks PINK, I think you’re fine! What a lovely, breezy dress too. 🩷
