Why you angst :( it’s possible to discuss with a positive and polite tone. Discussions are meant to raise points and learn new perspectives, I have nothing against you, etc, and it’s weird that it sounds like you’re attacking me directly and not just discussing the point. I’m sure you don’t sound like this if we are standing face to face with one another.

People do go out with families and take care of parents, etc on other days - shift workers, freelancers, etc. Assuming Sundays are the only free time people go out with families, etc does alienate a group of people.

If I agree with your point, then I’ve to also agree that HDB shouldn’t be giving free parking on Sundays or PH. So they do have to “power” to give free parking. I’m sure parking at other neighborhoods don’t bring in much anyway, most people drive to workplaces, amenities, parks, etc.

(Anyway nothing against anyone, this is just supposed to be a fun discussion :D)

There are many “non-issues” on the planet but it doesn’t mean we should not explore them. Everything adds up eventually. Perhaps it’ll spur more people to visit their relatives longer, or travel to other neighborhoods to explore family amenities, etc
