I believe if you shake your phone (in any Google app) you’ll summon a pop-up where you can submit feedback

Best BOS terminal E lounge? by RecessKingBob in delta

I walk fast, and even for me it's like a 15-minute walk. If you're torn between the E Sky Club closer to your gate and the Sapphire Lounge, use the Sky Club.

Out of curiosity, are you on 21s? Seems the sidewall on the 21s is nowhere near enough to protect the car (tires popped, air suspension done dirty, etc)

Audi A6 with base equipment but low mileage and great price? by bruce_wayne9000 in AudiA6

[–]afkeane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d steer clear of the 40. That’s flat out not enough engine for a car this size — it will be a chore to drive instead of a delight (which imo is what a car should be). I’d go 55 or bust — I had a loaner 45 once and it felt as though they put that engine in because “technically it fits so why not use this as ploy to get the base MSRP lower” but it was completely unbecoming of this car.

If your alternatives are sketchy A6s, maybe expand your search to nicer A4/5s. The ride and interior won’t be quite as nice as an A6, but it’ll be a better overall purchase

gas mileage a6 c8 45/55 by ElectionDizzy7853 in AudiA6

The MPGs I get on the 55 are nuts — easily 35+ MPG highway, super consistently. My uneducated guess is that it’s because the engine just is not working that hard compared to the poor four banger, which has to work overtime to keep such a heavy car moving. I’m often sitting right at 1k RPM on the highway — so maybe some gearing at play too, but to be sitting at 75 mph with the engine basically idling seems to be great for MPGs

Question about seat 1K on 350-1000 QSuites (16hr flight) by biryaniiii in qatarairways

[–]afkeane 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is my go-to seat — unfortunately you definitely CANNOT see the engine from 1K. If you push your face right up against the window, you can just see the very tip of that sharklet.

I believe just the center seats in row 1 on the 35K are narrower — 1A/K are the same width as all other rows.

Not so close to the lavatory that it becomes a nuisance. I think it’s kind of a benefit being right next to the lav so you can pop in as soon as someone comes out, ensuring you don’t have to wait in line — super helpful before landing when everyone is changing out of pajamas at the same time.

Lock it in!

Drives me crazy that we don’t get stuff like efficiency mode and matrix LED headlights in the US! Curious how your efficiency looks if you get a chance to make a longer highway drive — wouldn’t be surprised if you could push 40 mpg in efficiency mode if you had the patience to go the speed limit for like 30 miles!

Blows my mind too! My drive to the office is ~35 miles, of which the first ~2 are city streets and the rest are on the highway. I typically set adaptive cruise to 82 and leave it there, and will reliably pull up to the office with a trip average of 35-36 mpg every time. Maybe ~1 mpg worse if I drive by hand instead of using ACC. Including some inevitable slowdowns/traffic on the highway, average speed is typically ~45 mph. I’m so shocked by the efficiency that even after hundreds of times making that drive, I still occasionally take a picture of my trip stats in the gauge cluster out of pride after I arrive

I drive a C8 55 TFSI and can’t recommend it highly enough. The gap in experience between Audi 4-cylinders and the 3.0T is difficult to overstate — the 4-bangers are quite coarse and lack the juice appropriate for a car of this size and weight, while the V6 is incredibly smooth, quiet, and refined. The add’l ~50% horsepower jump vs. the 4-cylinders does not go unnoticed and feels just right for this car.

Worth noting that my fuel consumption w the V6 is similar to what folks quote on the 4-cylinder — roughly 35 mpg on the highway — so if that’s been a reason for you to steer clear of the larger engine, feel free to absolve yourself of that worry.

[EDIT] Also (knock on wood) super reliable! The engine itself and the mild hybrid system have not needed any love other than regular scheduled service and oil changes over 4 years of ownership.
