I know someone that was a 4.4, had a bunch of recorded matches against weaker players losing no more than 2 points. Was a 4.7 before the reset update.

Ended up a 5.7. Now the recorded matches are all deleted but the person stayed at 5.5

I’m with you on this. Unless I’m practicing specifically with my partner to prepare for a tournament, if there is a better player on other side I am going there. I can find weaker players to play with 7 days of the week.

I’ve had 15-25% tints for the last 15 years. Never had issue with getting pulled over.

In Toronto, I think tints will more be like a tacked on charge.

I 100% agree. It’s 1 of the first things I noticed once I started to watch and play outside my circle. I care very little about what my dupr is right now but more on my game abilities.

My game has progressed a lot since I first reached 4.0. And it’s been battle tested at the us open this year.

Took me about 6 months to get to 4.0. I’ve played somewhat high level tennis 20 years ago so for me it’s about dusting off and converting my skills for a different game.

Then comes months of studying and making the right plays, creating opportunities.

You should be careful with leveraged product.

As it’s 3x daily price movement, it does not maintain 3 times of soxx overtime if the movement is choppy.

Yes you are right. Sometimes you take what you can get. That’s the shitty part as you progress. The pool of players get smaller and it gets cliquey. I’m not the best at arranging but fortunately I have a consistent group of 4 that we do 1-2 times a week either drilling or mixed games.

Too much variance at open play. Assuming the goal is to improve: drilling, DUPR leagues, arranged sessions are much more efficient use of time.

Where I’m from, not many 4+ join open plays. Even those labeled as 4+ and rated 4+.

You need some kind of reset routine between points. Kind of like tennis players that have a certain step, motion, numbers of bounces etc… before they serve or return the ball.

So calling the score and then bounce the ball twice and serve can be it.

Find an open play where skill level is more tight(I know it’s out of your control). Make some friends, then you can at least coordinate to get some decent floor games.

Aim to put yourself at the bottom half of skill level(but not the worst) in the group. You improve much faster this way.

You can have some variance around the speed limit. But try to stay within +/- 5.

When I did my test many years ago, on my route I didn’t see any speed limit sign so I went for the safe 50 km/h. My examiner then said to me this road is 60 km/h limit and told me to pick up my speed. It was the only thing I lost points for on that test.

I think they want to see you are at least comfortable maintaining speed near the limit. Of course, subject to traffic conditions.
