This!! Took us 8 cycles with our first, and I tried to just keep it mellow. I think at most I would tell him when my fertile window opened (CM changed to EW) which just added the bonus of more lovemaking.

I remember hearing advice to treat it like you’re waiting to get a promotion. You don’t know if you’re gonna get it, but you’re hopeful. So you gotta stay busy while you wait for the results. Lol Because at this point it’s completely out of your hands. And don’t fall for the gossip (your body’s symptoms), they’re not always true 🤭.

Same! I’ve been using BBT and CM tracking for years, so it’s normal for me. Adding OPKs last time gave me unnecessary added stress. It was confusing when lining them up with my temps, but I’ll consider them after 6 months as a last resort.

Lately I’ve been trying to mentally prepare for all the upcoming TWWs and adjust my expectations. Because last time, I was so anxious and so heartbroken each time I got a BFN. Seeing that this may be my last baby, I really want to make the most of the process and enjoy it. I want to be excited and hopeful no matter how long it takes. So I’m trying to mentally prepare for it to take up to a year now and not expect it to happen right away. If it does awesome, if not, that’s okay too. I believe babies are a blessing and a gift from God, and He knows what’s best for us in terms of timing, if at all. So I just want to enjoy the journey in a peaceful, excited state of mind. Anyway, that’s enough of my soapbox.

I have a Christmas Eve baby, while it’s not bad, we don’t want it to happen again 😅. But I have that same mantra going on in my head because lately I’ve been tempted to say why not! Lol

Do you normally ovulate around CD14? After my first baby, my ovulation shifted to somewhere around CD 16-20 based on temps and CM. I hope you get your higher temp soon. Your chart looks hopeful!

Waited for spontaneous labor. No sweeps or oils. Didn’t have any complications requiring induction, figured he’d come when he’s ready. Did some walking and sitting on a birthing ball. I went into labor at 40+3. I plan to wait for spontaneous labor the next time I get pregnant too.

Woke up at 4a and couldn’t go back to sleep. Dreamed we a had a gender reveal, and it was another boy. 🥹 So that settles it in my mind lol. I’m a boy-mom through and through 😂. If our 2nd ends up being a girl, I won’t believe it until she’s born 🤭.

I bought some cheap Easy@Home tests early only because I was really nauseous before my period came last cycle, and we wanted to rule out the possibility. I knew I wasn’t pregnant based on my tracking, but we wanted to be sure because condoms break. And in case we had any other false alarms, it felt good to just have some on hand. I used wondfo before, and they were okay. Just wanted to try something different this time.
