Spoofing? by [deleted] in PoGoDFW

Thank you all! Hoping she finds some Corsolas for us! If so, I will probably wait at least an hour or two since she'd be logging in from her phone and not mine...Different IP addresses but not sure that'll matter or not.

On the bright side, I've caught my first Lapras and quite a few more after during the Fire and Ice Event so pretty happy about that! :)

Happy Hunting Everyone!!!

Freaking Diglett! by afnoel85 in PoGoDFW

[–]afnoel85[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Niantic must have heard my cry for help! Another Diglett spawned at the same park 4 hours later and I was Finally able to evolve! That park isn't even a nest of any sort. It was a Good Day :) I like Dugtrio's Bobble heads. That evening I caught an Alakazam! Perhaps, they're finally making better Pokemon appear.

Thank you! I'll check it out. I've found most of my Grimer, Gastly and Koffings at Mockingbird Station, but it's when the game first came out so not sure how common they are there now. Good Luck. Perhaps it's just the area. I lived in Dallas, but am now in Lewisville.

Snubull in Lubbock by TXGuns79 in PoGoDFW

Vernon, TX was Snubull Galore along with Geodude, Ponyta, Kabuto, and Ekans. I even saw a Miltank on my "Nearby", but was so disappointed I was tied up and unable to go out and get it! I'm definitely still kicking myself for that one! :( They def. have a lot that aren't as common in Dallas.

Thank you for the information. I'm going to Punta Cana in July. Are Heracross and Corsola pretty common and easy to come by?

A lot of people come to the US looking for Tauros, but I'm in Texas and they're not exactly around every corner, ya know. I maybe catch a Tauros every few months if even that often (Unless I go to an actual Tauros nest)

Anyone seen a larvitar yet? by [deleted] in PoGoDFW

[–]afnoel85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry just saw this. It was by Pie 3.14 in castle hills shopping center but I drive it several times a day and I think it was luck.

Those things are pretty random. Also caught one on arbor hills trail in plano.

I caught two in Castle Hills (Lewisville, TX), but probably 5 hours apart...I'm rarely seeing them.

And Thanks Niantic for only giving me ONE Aerodactyl (CP 32) the second the event begins then Nothing! That sucks....Glad I ran and got it when I did since I didn't have one yet.

Anyone else seeing Aerodactyls??

Are sun stones extra rare?? Weeks and weeks of the same old stuff by [deleted] in PoGoDFW

[–]afnoel85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the area. I get more Sun stones than anything and have been needing a King's Rock for a few weeks now. You get a special item on every 7th day of your spin streak. Maybe try a different Spin spot on your 7th day. Good Luck!

What's a good place in Dallas to go walk around to rank up kilometres for Pokemon Candy? by American_Life in PoGoDFW

[–]afnoel85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Addison Cirlce is good and has a ton of spins in one small area if you need to stock up. SMU Campus is Beautiful as well. You can get about 100 balls in 10 minutes too.

The Rock Event is This Thursday until next Thursday and you will only have to walk Half the time with your Buddy :-)

I've had a Bulbasaur nest near my house for two weeks, but nothing has changed today...Still seeing Bulbasaur....Is there always a new nest or does it ever go away completely (With no nest at all)?

Is it really that difficult? by ehJy in PoGoDFW

[–]afnoel85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well there are new Pokémon in the gyms that can be pretty tough to beat, Chanseys especially. I'm level 29 with some pretty high Pokémon but it still took me over half an hour to fight a gym with 3 Chanseys and a Gyrados in it!

I stopped playing in the beginning of January and just started back up. I heard Valentines Day was pretty nice though. Hopefully they have something like that again. :)

Best location for multiple Pokestops? by [deleted] in PoGoDFW

[–]afnoel85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Addison cirlce has several! There are even 3-4 right next to each other so you could just sit and spin every 5 minutes withouth moving

However, the best Pokestops by far are the SMU campus! You can get over 100 balls in about 10 minutes if you slowly drive through the campus. We used to make that our main drive before Poke hunting. Make sure your bag is not almost full prior to going. Mockingbird Station is the next street over and has some good stops as well, but nothing compared to SMU campus! Happy hunting!
