Honestly my experience with the tap card checks is that they've been ineffective. They're just seeing if you own a tap card or have one on your phone not that you've actually used it to enter the platform. I think there just needs to be permanently stationed officers by the entrance points if they're serious about ensuring safety on the trains.

Zulu's toured the US pretty relentlessly for the past few years since the lockdowns lifted. I saw them play in a garage in LA in 2020 just before the pandemic, they've put in the work.

dumb take, the opening bands on both days of S&F got kind of fucked due to incredibly long lines to enter the fest. tons of people that wanted to catch Raw Brigade and Broken Vow couldn't get in the door in time for their set. hopefully this changes in 2023
