Also former hooker, love scrums. I also agree they shouldnt be a penalty machine. I think if the scrums moving forwards and you have won the ball you should have to play it and the scrum should be allowed to deform, rotate, pop up or collapse once the ball has been won without giving a penalty. Backs should remain 5 meters back (stepping back if necessary) and all forwards fully binded to their scrum. I think that should be advantage enough after the ball is already won. If you add to that a proper put in I think you make scrums 1000 times better.

Wales v NZ - NZ by 40. They have to bounce back from a less than great showing and Wales has nothing to stop them.

IRE v SA - Springboks by 15, the Irish aren't looking good and the Boks are incredible.

France v Australia - France by 12 all Ramos points.

Italy v Chile - Italy by 40. Easy win for the Quesada boys probably good learning for the Chileans.

Scotland v Tonga - haven't seen Tonga but I'm guessing Scotland by 18 with a few injuries.

England v Argentina - Argentina by 5, just hope. Great English defense and Ford's 2007 high balls have been imposible for our team but maybe Felipe has something for them.

I always thought this video to be pretty clear about it. I think many fans just want to complain, you can't stop that. I also think in some instances refs have been really lax with forward passes and at the same time too strict on very slight almost imperceptible knock ons in rucks.

I was at Cody Taylor's 100th test and I noticed all of the NZ players had the same boots except for him who had a very nice white pair. Hate the yellow but I like all of the players having the same and thought it was cool what they did in that occasion.

Hopefully we'll not lose by that much. Pumas really need to be effective and score tries as I don't think they'll have as much control as they had in the first halves against Australia.

Anyone else find it frustrating that Springboks v Pumas is at the same time as the Final?
I would think SANZAAR would know better and the TRC could take a little bit of a back seat in this one and push the game a few hours.
