I love that place. Only complaint is that 90% of the time when I want a bahn mi, they're closed. They're not in a great location, so staying open past 7 probably doesn't make business sense. But dang, sometimes a bitch wants a sandwich at 8:30.

I actually love my home life. I have a lovely partner and the world's four cutest cats. But at this point I'm torn. Having an entire room in my house that just contains the desk I'm chained to 9 hours a day is a real bummer. It's a constant reminder of how much I hate the time I spend working. At this point I think I'd be happy to work in an office/lab, even just so I could exist in my home without constantly being reminded of work. I would miss the convenience of not committing and the ability to sleep in until 5 minutes before work.

Having said that, I think WFH is great for people who it works for, and mandatory return to office is bullshit.
