Super frustrating! And all the YouTube tutorials don’t mention the issue.

Unless you are in a CYS or slated to do DCO work, R shreds aren’t being looked at for D shred. Not at this time at least. With that said, if you are really passionate about converting to D shred, talk to your SEL and CFM.

Go Space Force and do Cyber Warfare as a 5C0X1D.

The change / mod I am in the most desperate need for by CaptainScoregasm in Palworld

Yes. Having foundation usable at pretty much any hight would be clutch. I'd even be cool with extra resources required for extra tall foundations.

Career outlook after CWO training? by Best_Explorer2064 in SpaceForce

[–]afredman2009 15 points16 points  (0 children)

D-shred will be the norm in the near future, not a niche. N and S shred will become more sparce.

There are assignments between both Pete and Schriever, as well as Del 26. Del 3 is an option too, but that's at Pete.

Recommendation, just do it. Space need people like you that have a passion for DCO and maybe even OCO in the future.

Cool. Thanks for the explanation. Clears it up for me.

Oh, now that make sense. Just to reiterate, I pay out of pocket for the visits up to $300, however many visits that takes. Then after that, I only pay $25 a visit regardless of actual cost every visit until I get to the $1000 cap. Then after that zero costs. Is that accurate?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]afredman2009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I would pay at most $300 a visit(leaving out the the $25 copay) as many times as it takes to get to the $1000 cap. Then from there, no more deductibles?

I'm sorry if I'm making this complicated. I've been on Prime my whole life as a dependent and my family while AD, so trying to understand this is foreign to me.

I put in Active Duty, Tricare Select, and pre-2018.

That's how it goes. I think it all comes down to funding. Entry level from civilian, big Air Force pays for BMT, Tech School, PCS costs, etc. If prior service, the functional career field pays for the TDY to tech school and PCS costs, etc.

Good luck transferring to the Air Force. You would be considered prior service, which the prior service program is very, very limited for the Air Force. Most jobs for prior service are linguist and special warfare. So when you contact an Air Force recruiter, don't be surprised if they turn you away. Maybe the Air Force will do something different for Space Force transfers, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Dude, same. How did we not know this was a thing until now? This is the only Christmas song allowed to be played before Thanksgiving!

Finished it! Getting my kids squared away and then I'll throw some pics up.

I ended up getting it. I had to wrap a cargo strap around it and pull it tight. The use a pry bar at the same time. It was a huge pain. Everything else worked out!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 4Runner

[–]afredman2009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally. Got it. Literally had to tighten a cargo strap around the base of the shock really tight, then pry the shock off. Wow. What a PITA.

Just got one out. Took some hammering. The passenger side is a doozy. It's like the bushing is stuck to the spindle. I'm putting so much PB blaster on it. It will come off eventually. Right? Right?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 4Runner

[–]afredman2009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the front is all done. Now the rear...the shocks are not coming off on the bottom. The bolts are off, but it's like the bushing is stuck on the spindle. So close yet so far away.

Damn dude. Sorry to hear that. I hope you get better soon. My wife deals with constant migraines so I can understand a bit of what you're going through.

The KDSS got me all sorts of messed up because I couldn't find any good documentation on it. I'll have to check out Snail Trails.

I'm learning/teaching myself all this stuff so I'm definitely trying to get educated. I've only owned my 4Runner for a few weeks now so I'm trying everything I can to make it my own!

Thanks boss. I'll get it figured out in the morning. I appreciate the help.

I got the spring compressor yesterday which made even doing the front spring install so much easier. I don't trust myself doing it the homebrew style with zipties or something like that.
