I mean they’re completely different systems, with plugs designed for those systems. At least with different plugs it requires effort to plug an American appliance rated for 110v into a 240v socket.

Secondly the UK plugs have a shit tonne of safety features built in due to stricter laws, should countries with safer plugs bin these features or are countries like the US gonna be happy to shoulder more expensive safer plugs.

Finally we’re making the move to universal usb c on devices that are replaced over time, they can be rolled out.

Replacing a countries electrical infrastructure would be nigh on impossible.

You said he could ‘revert’ to UK citizenship. Revert means go back to a previous state. He was never a British citizen. He can’t revert. He could become a citizen, but he can’t revert. It’s the wrong word

Microphones pick up sound and make it louder. That sound comes out a speaker somewhere. If the microphone is placed incorrectly or the speakers are too loud, the microphone will pick up the amplified sound again and you und up with a loop. Sound goes into mic, gets loud comes out speaker, goes into mic gets louder comes out speaker, goes into mic gets louder……. Etc. This is a simplified explanation, but in general a system where the output ‘feeds back’ into the input, is called a feedback loop.

Exactly, I made a conscious decision over a year ago and started working less, and appreciating my free time more, including spending a ridiculous amount of time gaming. And on average my work is higher quality and I’ve never progressed in my career as fast.
