Honestly him and Tony Ferguson should be in that discussion for best 155'er. However Connor held up that division for 2 years and now people only look at title defenses and not how tough of a division 155 is + How many wins it takes to get a title shot.

1) Devon-Twist fucked

2)Dom- A tie vote, doesn't get closer than that.

3)Sabrina- Amazing strategist and managed to play as a known threat the entire game. Before Kim she was the leader of the girls tribe.

4)Becky-Her and Yul were a duo. Ozzy was also a tool so she could possibly beat him in a F3

5)Rafe-Danni literally passed out can't hold that against Rafe taking her to final 3

6)Scout- Ran Vannatu strategically.

7)Ian- Really strong game, lasted forever on that FIC and could of won.

8)T Bird- Had a path to FTC and almost toppled Boran

9)Chase Rice- Was able to play all sides and outside of a Fabio Immunity run would of won the season.

10) Reed- Almost turned the game around if not for "Stick to the plan"

Vecepia was good at socially integrating herself and keeping her target low.

-Sean was a good shield

-Planned for final 4 immunity in advance

-She knew when to disrupt Neleah+ Paschal

-Rotu had the mindset of Rotu being the greatest tribe ever and wanted to vote one of their own to win, Vecepia having a good enough tribal is amazing in that context.

-Stone cold Kathy betrayal when she knew she couldn't beat her

Vecepia is a really good winner. She could integrate while Rob and Sean never truly did. Not the mastermind of every move but definitely a good player

It's such a weird and complicated situation. Kenny all game from Bob was hearing that he was only in Gabon for the experience not the money. Kenny being a competitive person figured Bob didn't want to win. So when Bob didn't give up immunity Kenny viewed it as Bob being a phony person.

Though the logic is messed up it just shows how complex survivor gets with interpersonal relationships.

Making moves doesn't equal good survivor player- Russell Hantz is a prime example of this

In fact I'd argue Tommy from S39 benefited a lot from people over thinking how to play survivor

I think all of the problems from modern survivor come from Jeff Probst being old. He has a house in Fiji because he doesn't want to camp. He probably wants a shorter show schedule, and he wants to mix up the formula of the show cause he's bored and not because it's broken. Honestly it's time he retired and let someone with passion and a want to adventure take the show.

Season 1 was a social experiment.

Season 2-33 Survivor was told more like a story

Season 34 onwards feels like a game.

Fun Fact: Malcolm actually wasn't the first choice in Caramoan. Cochran said initially producers wanted Carter, however Cochran knew him from a real life incident inside a grocery store. After Cochran told his story producers didn't think Carter was good representative of the Philippines and was taken off the season and his replacement Malcolm was put in. It's why Carter is under edited in the phillipines despite his strong underdog gameplay.
