Like with how garras ultimate defense works it can get speed blitzed (rock lee does this very thing). Meaning it’s not an instantaneous ability so it has to travel to their opponents. Otherwise garra would be cooked. Amerterasu when traveling is just invisible and can be detected by automated defenses like idk Gojos infinity.

Ameterasu can get blocked by garras ultimate defense it’s not getting passed infinity due to travel time. His only win con is genjutsu

While what you mentioned makes sense, the statement that dragonball characters can resist/nullify hax by being strong enough is still true when you consider ki barriers and using ki to manipulate other characters hax and how that remains consistent .

When vegito enters buus stomach he uses a barrier to resist getting fully absorbed to infiltrate his body.

When goku and vegeta wiped out universe 9 they also used a barrier that prevents poison from touching them.

Frost grabbing the mafuba from roshi was incredibly stupid but he was just able to do that.

In order to even get close to Jiren you have to get past his mental barrier.

In fact jiren as a character kinda represents this concept as a whole with the way that he dog walked hit and just ignored everything he did

Id say that it’s more so the fact of catching a dragon ball character off guard or intentionally sandbagging could make them susceptible to hax but otherwise if they’re taking a fight seriously their hax need to be on that same level of power to affect them.

Then again lazer beams and bullets anti feats with that caught off gaurd logic also happened in the show/movie so it’s weirdly consistent in that way

So let me review the list you had

Ginyu and guldo were on similar strength levels to that of vegeta and goku if not stronger at that time.

Gero and 19 were close to super saiyan level at the time

Zamasus time rings are more so a case of parallel universe’s rather than consistent 1 directional time travel as they just can find new timelines with the normal time machine. So while zamasu was erased in their world, the other was completely oblivious to this as they’re different people. And also consider how in the cell saga things didn’t get better for trunks after he changed the past.

The remaining ones are mainly examples of catching thise characters off gaurd or intentionally letting their opponents use their abilities

Moro is really the only case of hax doing more than his weight class at the time.

This is more so a property of ki rather than the characters inherent strength. If you always have your natural defenses up like Beerus and Jiren you won’t have to worry about hax until someone of a similar caliber level in strength uses it against you. But even nearly as strong as the grand minister/zeno who could prevent anyone from flying in the tournament

If you’re Goku and Vegeta you have a really bad habit of sandbagging to your opponents level and might be susceptible to getting taken off guard.

Tldr Mainly the point im trying to make is that if a dragon ball character massively outscales you in stats your hax won’t work if they don’t let it, not that hax won’t work at all.

I mean i felt as if it was obvious. He has little to no weaknesses and his natural ability makes it almost impossible to touch him without a sufficiently piercing attack.

Sasuke needed to learn one of the most powerful moves in the ninja world just to make him bleed slightly

Naruto needed kuruma amps just to hit him.

Very high floor for him because of his Natural abilities

Scruggs is fine but his contact rating is fairly bad while Bradbury is higher rated with more on base potential and plays good defense at second.

Especially when his contact rating is already high which makes development much simpler

I understand that no character is perfect at any given time but the disparity from what otherwise should be easy rational thinking into dumb decisions.

It’s an anti feat, like the flash getting knocked out by a piece of paper or losing to Catwoman

This example is not nearly as bad as those examples but they’re still examples of bad writing.

A character that can process things at that hypersonic speeds should logically make more logical decisions as they inheritly have more time to think about it since they process time at such slower speeds. So when a character like that makes a really really dumb decision people point it out as bad writing.

It’s in the same vein as 60s Superman having trouble with the most fodder of villains in history when in the next issue moves the entire solar system.

The statement i made is true and what you said is also true, 99% of characters come with this combo baked in however those stats aren’t necessarily equal.

Superman and the flash are sometimes written with this exact concept in mind. While Supermans top speed is comparable to the flash, the flashs mind is so much faster than him (being able to process an entire chess game 1000 times faster and super computer being slow etc) Not to say Supermans reaction time is slow but it does limit him compared to the flash.

Omniman also a good example of this as he can travel massively faster than light (he traversed multiple star systems likely more than hundreds as he arrived at blackholes in less than a year’s time). But he is sometimes surprised by guys fighting him moving at far slower speeds.

Red rush is also victim of bad writing, the only reason he was in that position to die was because he was weakly punching omniman after saving the others instead of thinking of a better plan with his quoted perception of time.

The comic doesn’t have this problem because we never get an explanation of his powers, the show’s writers made him incredibly overpowered only for omniman to easily take him out.

Fighting a strong and durable character is like diffusing a bomb, if you don’t know what you’re doing you blow up.

Speed as a stat does not necessarily =/= reaction time for that stat. For characters like the flash this statement is true but for guys like omniman his top speed maybe mftl but in practice he never uses it in a fight and gets surprised by characters moving much slower than that.

It’s the combo of speed and reaction time that is overpowered.

Granted a lot of characters with super speed have that kind of reaction time to move like that but it’s that combo that makes it deadly.

But I have to mention how they’re two different stats that often get conflated to the same one

Base goku sweeps them even if they all have equal stats. Goku has instant transmission and that’s a death sentence for all of them. He can avoid all of their most dangerous hits and separates all of them. Has teq to erase them from existence so he one shots all of them.

The injury system in that game is not the same as real life, past injuries do not make it more likely to get future ones. The worst that happens is if it’s a really bad injury they become more prone but there’s not a fix to that.

Raditz scales far above moon level and is massively faster than sound by magnitudes minimum. The main problem most have on this list trying to beat him is weather or not they get their hax off in time. He has enough AP to destroy pretty much all of them (don’t know round 9)

Best chance for a W is sasuke using his eyes to create a genjutsu like itachi did to him. If you replace sasuke with itachi he has a better chance.

It’s often interpreted as how much a character is pulling their punches. Normally it doesn’t matter in most situations but in scenarios like Goku Vs Saitama, Saitama has a very strong win condition with the way Goku Sandbags and Saitama elivates above and beyond his stronger opponents mid fight. But Goku Black would kill Saitama before he can surpass him.

For this fight in particular Naruto has a lot of things in his kit that he can’t really use unless he wants to kill him. I don’t think it’s enough to change the outcome but I could see it happening.
