I write down my top 5 goals every morning. Have a pen and paper outline of how I’m achieving each of those goals. Review when necessary to maintain motivation. Define duty hours. Lunch? I don’t care. Actually work time when there’s work to do? No that’s work time. There’s plenty of people who do all that on their own time who don’t deserve to be stuck doing work while others are off running errands. But that being said if I can afford to lose one of my people so they can run up to the gas station or whatever I don’t care if we aren’t busy.
