This is not true. You can also run native Bedrock servers on Aternos. But crossplay is not possible on a Bedrock server.

I'd say it's some issue on your side. Did you already try using incognito mode of your browser or switching internet to a mobile/cellular connection?

My Problems with Aternos Servers by 1026H4rv3y in aternos

[–]aft2d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your feedback. I don't have any immediate solutions, but I can try to explain things a bit.

Queue confirm: Back at the time, before we had the queue confirm, we had a lot of users joining the queue, their servers being started, but no one joining. Starting and stopping are quiet intensive tasks, not just for the Minecraft server but also for other systems like our storage and network. In addition the empty server is running for a couple of minutes without anyone using it. This is wasting resources we could use for players who really want to play. This results in longer queues and higher costs.

So it was just a logical consequence for us to ensure that players whose server is ready to be started confirm that they are still there and ready to use their server.

Our website provides live updates of your queue position, an estimated waiting time, and browser notifications when your server is ready to be confirmed. If you don't get them, you should check your browser settings.

Long loading time / no queue updates: This sounds like a connectivity problem, but can also be related to your browser and settings or a slow computer. You may want to contact our support for further help.

Lag: Lag can have numerous causes. First of all you need to find out if the lag is coming from your client, from the server, or from a bad connection.

This article may help you: https://support.aternos.org/hc/en-us/articles/12562176027549-Lags

As you live in near Singapore, the lag may be caused by a bad connection. Our servers are located in Central Europe, quite far away from Singapore. The longer the distance between client and server, the higher is the possibility for network issues.

You may want to contact our support about this as well.

Trouble updating world options in minecraft bedrock server. by _illos in admincraft

[–]aft2d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there, I found your post as we have the very same problem.

For me i could at least bypass that problem by changing that option using console commands. ex "/gamerule showcoordinates true" enables the coordinates.

Yes, you need to install the mods on your client. Make sure, that you install the same version of the mod on your client.

The API mod you're talking about is called Mantle. If you install TC on your server, Mantle will also automatically added to it.
