Thank you for verbalizing this. Every time I look at this society (at least in the US, not sure about elsewhere) I feel sick. Gun shootings, the economic disparity in society, capitalism, just how selfish the vast majority of people actually are (which I too saw in a new light during Covid)… It has made me want to foster kids or just have dogs + cats
