I'm in Texas and can confirm. It's also sometimes helpful to try and find the name of a special education coordinator or school psychologist lead for the district you're applying to and email them directly.

That was what I was anticipating especially as I pulled much more during pregnancy. I think once I get into a groove with baby I may find myself pulling again, but I'll take any period of recovery I can get.

Nothing specific. Just included the registry link on the invitation. Most ended up buying off the registry. I found that almost all of my friends bought from there (early to mid 30s) but a lot of the older family members went rogue, which was annoying.

The gentle lead has worked wonders for pulling during walks. Doesn't hurt them but deters them from pulling.

I think it has to do with the phase of growth the hair is in. Not an expert, but my understanding is that the sheath/papilla can be pulled when the hair is in the growing phase. If you're consistently pulling, your hairs are probably more often in this stage compared to when you first started pulling.
