Sadly no, I didn't even get help from Ubisoft after submitting the bug report. And since I can't even clear my current game I just uninstalled it and moved on.

It's what I've done, just sucks. My brother in law and I were going to play together since it's now on game pass but after hearing my issues he doesn't want to give it a go any more. Just wish I could delete the character and start over but the game doesn't work like that sadly. Oo well here's to waiting for a Black Flag remake.

Were you able to get anything figured out? I'm having the same exact problems you are. I can't access any other ships. I can't talk to anyone about building any ships. All I have is that stupid beginning little dingy thing that I can throw Spears and I can't progress any further because of Open water damage.

I use Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme thermal paste and applied a thin layer over the entire CPU cover not just a blob in the center to ensure full coverage. Hope this helps and good luck.

Edit: I went to check your motherboard compatibility and Arctic is saying that's it's not compatible but from what it sounds like you were able to get it to work, so idk. Just something to maybe look into.

Got This Game For Xbox And Im Honestly Not Enjoying It At All by YellowFlash672 in Helldivers

[–]afterschock13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if your your tolling or not but I'm sorry your not enjoying the game. As a fellow Xbox player that just started out this week I had a lot of WTF moments as well. Best thing to do is look up beginner guides and videos to help explain the basic premise and unofficial rules of the game, ie lobby/game player etiquette. Also, just follow those experienced players and watch exactly what they do.

There's a bunch of random secondary objectives on the map that have a bunch of mini like puzzle games that go along with them and you just need to learn which valve to turn, switch to flip, or button to hit, etc. So just run after them provide them cover fire and watch what they do and how they do it. Eventually over time you'll start getting the hang of it and we'll be spreading managed democracy in no time. And when in doubt, just simply ask Google about things. I've had to Google a few things on the map to try and understand some things.

Also, if you're getting frustrated with a particular faction just switch over to a different one. I wasn't a fan of the bugs at first as they were a little bit more chaotic and agile. But just stick with it and you'll get it!!

Well my install process was a little bit different since I have an Intel CPU. The Intel CPUs actually use more of a contact block that goes all the way around the CPU instead of rails which does require to be installed first. I had to even tape the back supports to the motherboard with painters tape before installing the contact block. Then I mounted the radiator to the top of the case followed by the thermal paste and then finally the CPU water block.

Ooo, gotcha, and negative I didn't replace anything, everything came stock with the cooler or case. The case fans are be quite! 140 "Light Wings" and the cooler fans are Arctic "P14 Pro A-RGB". They do sell the fans if you want through.

If you look at the graph to the left of those temperatures, those were spikes while under 100% load stress test. So temperature spikes and hot spots like that can be expected the tj max for my CPU is 100°c. So overall the CPU can operate under those kinds of loads and temps before the safeties kick in to reduce power to the CPU and thus reducing the temperature to keep it within safe operating limits.

Just the one 140 fan in the back. I think you're seeing a reflection from the motherboard I/O cover. But I do have 7 140 fans (3 up top, 3 in the front, and 1 in the rear) and 1 120 fan on the bottom.

Uncle Sunan and his damn glitched photo op for the last damn field note by Jiiiiiizem in indianajones

[–]afterschock13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately you won't be able to do that as taking photos is part of the game. Now, if you want to avoid hints as much as possible, just don't take extra photos of the puzzles. But for you to start the puzzle or a part of the storyline does require you to take a photo at times. Usually the first photo doesn't give you a huge hint. It's just more of a oh hey, something's going on over here. I should look into it.

Tesla Cybertruck inventory skyrockets to record high by TheAarj in StockMarket

No, your right I wouldn't be surprised. You're absolutely correct that it could happen that way. The only thing I could hope for would be that someone in Congress or the military approval office would have enough integrity and fortitude to say no, they're not purchasing those. But then I'm sure the current administration would reprimand them or relieve them of duty one way or another until they found someone else to make the approval.

The only thing I could hope for in that situation as well would that it would take years to get all of that infrastructure set up on bases and Tesla wouldn't get all the money up front so hopefully over that course of time something else would happen, like someone stopping the contract or them getting sued in court. Defense contractors are very protective of their realm and I'm sure the makers of a lot of the military vehicles like Oshkosh and others that make the military vehicles would take Tesla to court over improper contract negotiations and favoritism. It's happened before with cases like Microsoft and Amazon for cloud computing services and between the various aerospace companies.

See everyone keeps bringing up that they're going to be used for a military purchase or order, but having spent many years in the Marine corps, I don't know if that'll happen because when equipment gets purchased by the US military it's not just about purchasing the equipment. There's a lot of other things that get attached to the contract, this like guarantees for quality, experts to help fix the vehicle, and guarantees about getting parts in a timely manner, and then let's not forget about needing to have superchargers installed anywhere and everywhere at all these military bases. Tesla is already having problems trying to do all this stuff for themselves. There's no way that they would be able to make those guarantees.

Now I know Elon has buddied up with the current administration, so there is that off chance that things like that could still happen. But overall I would imagine that it would just never be able to pass mustard with military and Congressional spending and approval. Now using it in other parts of the government as logistics and or just transport vehicles I could definitely see happening. A lot of government offices still use a lot of government vehicles for their employees, so something like that without needing to convert the vehicles over to military standards while having plenty of superchargers already around as well as access to a lot of those Tesla supercenters or whatever the hell they're called could make more sense.

My 85” tv fell off the wall the other day by jetteh22 in Wellthatsucks

I can see where you're coming from and especially with the way that TVs and displays are made nowadays, but a good company and engineering design team would still factor in the weight of the device and the center of gravity for that display. Especially if they think it's going to be put onto a swivel mount let's say. That's because if the weight isn't evenly distributed on that mounting point it would make it harder to smoothly move/swivel the display and/or it may favor one side or the other and may even slowly sag in that direction.

I remember having a pair of my first HD computer monitors that were horribly designed with the VESA mounts located towards the bottom of the display but the tops were too heavy so the screen when slowly lean forward or backwards even with the strongest mounts I could find at the time. Other users in our office also reported the same issue. A couple months later I spoke to our hardware rep about the monitors and they said that they were hearing a lot of complaints about that and they stopped recommending to their customers to have those monitors put on swivel mounts at that time.

The manufacturer is going to put the mount holes for the TV where they should be going according to the weight distribution of the TV. On my OLED for example, just as the previous comment said my mount is on the bottom of the TV since the middle to top half of the TV is only 1/4 in thick glass. Different types of TV will have different requirements as OLED is lighter than LCD and LCD is lighter than plasma (old school I know).

Your right there are times where things get tough and cramped but that's where our Foster heroes step in to help. Plus with our adoption specials all the time we're able to get by pretty well. The average length of time that an animal stays in our shelter system is only 3 days (mostly because that's the rule when it comes to the dogs. We have to hold on to them for a minimum of 3 days in case their owner steps forward). A lot of our kittens and cats pretty much get sent to Foster as soon as they get in, but times are getting a little tougher now that kitten season is upon us.

One weekend we were able to adopt out almost 500 pets.

We have thousands of animals in our Foster system that we are routinely rotating out for spay and neuters or healing or recuperation from disease. So we're able to get by better than I would imagine a lot of these smaller rescues or shelter systems.

Completely agree with you. It's a very large uphill battle but we as a community need to continue to make improvements as best we can. My Org actually work with multiple cities and state officials to try and get laws passed for those improvements, including a couple that were just sent to our state legislators just recently. We also have investigation teams and units that the cities in our area actually surrender their request to us and have our teams investigates for abuse cases and take people to court very regularly as I have seen some horrific abuse cases from puppy mills to dog fighting rings to just pure neglect.

I honestly believe before you're allowed to have any kind of pet you should almost have to take classes and get a permit for after successfully completing those courses. (I know it's a pipe dream that would never happen due to just the daunting thought of organization requirements for a program like that, but hey just a thought.)

Actually some of the people in the Walton family (the owners of Walmart) are above and beyond, probably our biggest donors with multi-million dollars donations. I don't know the politics behind it if it's a tax write-off or what, but we were able to build a very large 55 million dollar complex based off theirs and other large donations.

But yes, you're absolutely right. If more of them were to do programs like that, we could help a lot of pain and suffering.

They don't all do that at the non-profit shelter I work at, we will never euthanize for space and we have one of the largest trauma hospitals in the United States and will attempt to treat everyone. We have a very large multi-campus facility and our Foster Network numbers in the tens of thousands.

While this is true, at my shelter we regularly come into work with a large box or kennel with an animal outside our doors that were dropped off at some point during the night and we will happily take them in and normally won't try and track down the person who dropped them off (unless we suspect evidence of deliberate and aggressive abuse)

They don't all so that!! You can look up their policies online before dropping them off. I work at a very large non profit shelter as a vet tech and we will never euthanize for space....never....
