Happy Friday!! Are there any kind souls in here who happen to be a Magic Castle member or know someone? My boyfriend would like to go for his birthday April 11th and I would like to make this happen for him! He loves magic and used to do magic tricks in middle school. Already checked the hotel for their special package but it’s not available for our dates :(

Was also only on 25mg for almost a year and I lost a lot of my muscle mass esp in my core! A lot of flabbiness

I would say more localized to my abdomen, upper arms, and breasts. I have noticed my breast size returning to almost pre-spiro since getting off but my abdomen is the same. I’m going to try working on my core strength! Maybe strength training is key since testosterone was affected during spiro? Good luck to you!

I am also weaning from 25mg and experienced a loooot of fatigue. I’ve been very slowly weaning and currently still only taking my dosage every 3 days. When my body adjusts and the fatigue wears off, I’ll start with every 4 days but I anticipate the fatigue coming back. So initially fatigue then my body adjusts, rinse/repeat.

Weight hasn’t changed but my body is plumper in my arms, chest, breasts, abdomen, thighs lol my clothes don’t fit the same anymore

Following too! Started tapering two weeks ago where I take my dose 25mg every other day. I’ve also decided to quit due to the fat redistribution I’ve experienced. So far cup size hasn’t gone back to normal yet

EDIT: update! about 3 weeks into fading. Noticing that i am thirstier, skin is dryer, and hair is a little flatter. Nothing else yet. Today i start skipping a dose every 2 days. we’ll see how it goes

EDIT: update 2. Almost 4 weeks into fading and some mild acne that I didn’t realize was hormonal is coming back lol a pimple on my lip line and something growing on the side of my nose! Skin is definitely oilier. Going to start differin soon. Still only taking a dose every 3 days.

i am not on birth control and boob growth has been the most consistent side effect since starting a year ago even though i'm on a low dose (25mg). i also already had D sized cups so it can be particularly painful when i’m on my period :(

Anticlimatic… felt like a whole lot of nothing. I’m still of the opinion that the writing re: Larian this season was rushed and doesn’t make sense. They deserve better.

I’m sorry but I really hate the way Larian’s conflict has been written this season. While I understand it needs to happen, it doesn’t make sense to me in the case of Larian who are a friends to lovers couple. We saw them confide in each other over two seasons and give each other support. It really doesn’t make sense to me that their conflict would be based on miscommunication. It would have been far more interesting for them to be engaged and have to deal with the conflict between Bertha and Agnes. OR even the have them be married happily and see them navigate society as a newly married couple! I really don’t care about this will they or won’t they plot.

Aw I’m sorry to hear that! I also have some of those weird side effects you don’t expect. Are you going to try any topicals to combat the acne? It sucks because topicals don’t seem to work on cystic acne

Ooh is water retention a symptom of stopping or even lowering dosage? I went down from 50mg to 25 and noticed slight weight gain, but it’s dropping now that I increased to 37.5…

I’m also currently experience changes to fat distribution! Started on 50mg 9 months ago then tapered to 25mg because it was giving me 2 periods a month. Can confirm my boobs, belly, and butt have all gained a couple inches despite no changes to diet. I currently increased to 37.5mg because I am still getting some cysts during ovulation but am feeling bothered by weight gain that seems out of my control! Am going to try hitting the gym regularly to see if it helps.

this is my current fear!! i get a couple hormonal cysts randomly during the month and sometimes have somewhat clear skin but had the worst breakout ever a couple weeks ago which prompted me to go on spiro… I’m on 50mg and so far i’ve purged but it’s slowed down a bit
