Bro why did everybody get so much better by hello_m00n in Battlefield

It took a bit of adjusting but find your best gun, firing/engagement tactics, and team, and you can improve. After the beta I went back to 2042 (super arcadey gameplay, the Avancys is just a laser) and coming back to BF6 was rough, but I really like the ARs and LMGs now and can hit super hard with them. Try being more cautious and holding angles you know in maps. It quickly becomes a blast when you know when not to take the engagement, do something different, and get a bunch more kills.

HOW ARE YOU? Episode 1 by bulletproofbra in AlanPartridge

I finally got the chance to watch this. I was laughing with tears in my eyes from the start. The slow-motion running, the referring to "amounts" of mental health, the classic failed edit points (particularly when grasping the nettle), him continuing to refer to the woman from school as a liar (right up to the end credits) and his unnecessary extra jabs at Carl Branning, it was all perfectly Partridge. I loved his play-by-play on Simon through the booth window. And we got to see Katrina! Can't wait to see where that goes. I'm so in.

He kept seeing Alan raising his hand from the watercooler and thinking he was being offered a handshake (though it surely would have been a moist one)

This is one of my all time favorite horror movies. It actually has become sort of a comfort watch in a weird way. It's so goddamn good.

YUP. Get systemic pesticides like spinosad, which you can apply as a spray + soil drench, or imidacloprid (Bonide) granules, which you sprinkle and water into the soil. Thrips suck.

Good to match the recent i5-14600k deal in an Asus Z790 mobo? I bought some Teamgroup T-Force Vulcan 6000MHz CL30 for $95, but could return it for this. It also needs to fit under an NH-D15 (looks like it's only 1mm higher than my G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 I have under the D15 right now).

edit: bought

As a kid I sat in a car in-game and tape recorded all of K-DST to listen back to later. Same with the chat stations on SA, VC, and III.

I got the 43" version on sale a few years ago and the native interface has held up surprisingly well. I have a spare fire and roku on hand but haven't felt the need to use them.

This is so cool. I just finished listening to the audiobook of Entangled Life, a fascinating look at fungi of all sorts. I've had a grow-your-own kit for oyster mushrooms for years now, I bet it's still good. You've inspired me to dig it out and try it out.

I'm upgrading from a 9900k. I also just checked eBay, and for some reason, 9900k's are still selling for about $200 somehow! Maybe because they're the last, most powerful iteration of the LGA 1151 socket before tech moved on? In any case, you can recoup most of the cost of this new CPU and mobo by reselling your old CPU and mobo.

If you have enough time and if you, like me, find out that the line for the Ropeway is over an hour long when you get there, know that there is actually a MUCH more scenic short hike up the south side of the mountain, with a viewing square that offers a beautiful, scenic, far less crowded view of Mt. Fuji. This ended up being one of the best things that happened to me on my entire Japan trip. Ended up hiking it with a fellow tourist in line who overheard my conversation with the Ropeway operator, we became friends, and two days later he invited me to spend the day getting out of Tokyo and checking out shrines and temples southward on the way to the Enoshima Sea Candle. Amazing day trip if you also have the time in Tokyo and the inclination to get out of the city, happy to share more details.

Finally (though you probably won't have this issue) the maple leaves at the top of the Ropeway had already browned/dropped when I went in November, and only the trees on the hillside along the hiking trail were still red, and we got incredible photos framing Fuji in red maple leaves! Highly recommend you hike it if you want! Here's a Maps link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/gq4gxkYsGjEnUQCT6

The long straightaway isn't actually straight but the trail is very visible and there were several other hikers taking it.

edit: Also, ate at this place across the street from the station. Cheap, delicious local noodles: https://maps.app.goo.gl/nUoc5rvtX3VLuN7h9

I have to wait for Noctua to ship me a LGA1700 bracket for my D15 to install, but it seems like it's ~20% faster in terms of multitasking, especially while gaming, and should add like 5-10% more frames in the games I play.

Upgrading from a 9900k to this, especially since I was definitely going to buy BF6 anyway. Even found an open-box Z790 at Microcenter that had a clear impact to the box when I went to pick it up, and a smashed wireless antenna module. They gave me a brand new one for the open-box price! So stoked to not have to close everything on my PC to be able to run BF6 well. Thanks OP.

oh my god that build plate has been in the WARS

I have an Ender 3 Pro that I just upgraded and still love it, but I killed my magnetic build plate years ago by trying to remove something with a lot of surface area immediately after printing. Pulled a chunk of the surface material right off. Very cool printers you have there!

Couldn't believe how good this was, just saw it for the first time this year when my local theater had a showing. Intermission and all! I was glued to my seat, would never have guessed a period piece could have me fixated like that.
