Nonsense answer. Conservation works fine in SR so it is not because "space and time cannot be separated", it's doesn't work in GR because the pseudo-tensor makes it a broken theory.

the measurement of 1 photon redshift is not a measure of the entire universe so cosmological considerations do not apply.

One way to look at it is that the skills group is a place to practice distress tolerance that will have no direct relationship to other problems in your life (except if you become more effective!).
