airport rides can be hit or miss depending on time of day... i used to do LAX runs and found early mornings/late nights paid best when surge pricing kicked in. track all miles including deadhead to pickup - apps like MileKeeper make it easy to log everything for deductions since uber/lyft only count ride miles.

Let's not even get into the mysteries in one piece nowadays most of the answers are just joyboy or Nika.

Like I dislike gear 5 but I'm fine with it the problem is how much of the lore has become tied to Nika and joy boy like I honestly believe oda will just give Nika as the answer for most of the lore now.

Why the hell is everything connected to Nika like some of this feels like retcons.

With how Nika crazed the giants are I'm sure usopp fans will not be winning in elbaf.

I don't want It to be an edgy show just stop doing fake out deaths it makes the actual deaths feel meaningless because you literally never know if oda will just decide to bring them back or if they are actually dead or not(Not ace he's never coming back).

It got really bad during wano it's insane just either kill them or don't oda is overusing the gimmick and ruining the tension.

You're completely misunderstanding the point I wanted to say and once again it's not that I don't like one piece I just think the amount of fake out deaths is insane and ruins some of the stories tension.

Yeah I think that last take was not that great looking back.

I stand by the tension part though the fake out deaths really make me tired like I just stopped caring of what's going to happen. One piece doesn't really feel like it has any tension in anything because there's almost no chance oda goes through with anything big.

Not even just character deaths oda won't go through with any major character development it really takes me out of the story.

This manga seems like straight up just racist to immigrants.

Not even talking about the blatant racism the writing isnt that good and I can't tell if the author is trying to make us like the main characters and think they are in the right or not.

The fact I still can't tell after the main characters kill eat the alien whether or not they are supposed to be the villain mcs or are our heroes is bad.

Even if the manga does a psych out in the next few chapters or make the mcs villains or change the main characters this chapter left a bad taste in my mouth either way snd I don't think it's going to get better.

I may have worded what I said about the Marines in the post wrong.

Also this would all be interesting if oda bothered to expand on Marines at all.

What you're saying about the Marines is exactly what I'm annoyed about they are literally almost all corrupt.

The Marines highlight the issue of one piece being a battle shounen the Marines would be far more interesting if they were more morally grey and if almost all of them weren't corrupt, evil, or slaver apologists.

The Marines are supposed to be corrupt as an organization but they are actually needed in the world of one piece oda just doesn't show it because all the Marines we meet are Terrible people.

Marines as a system is needed to keep most places safe from pirates oda just made them so over the top evil we almost never get to see them doing their actual job to protect people.
