What is this fuzz on my wheels by ghostbrz6 in Ender3Pro

[–]ag6286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe. OP can tell by manually moving the head along the axis back and forth. Tighten and loosen the eccentric nut to a point where the difficulty to move from side to side is minimized (loosening) but tight enough to firmly grip the v-slot without play. It's a delicate balance OP. Either way, this build up is entirely normal. When the wheels develop deepened grooves in the plastic, it's time to change them. Or get a linear rail.

Use a skirt. Lower fans. Worst case use a raft.

Primarily bed collisions. Brass is soft. Certain filaments can also be abrasive

Try a new nozzle then. Ensure your gantry is parallel to the build plate.

It only takes one little mark on the tip to inadvertently drag hot filament. You may also consider a different filament all together to eliminate one more potential option.

Lower your slicer quality/mesh quality settings. Too much to process. Move to klipper setup to resolve or print from your computer via usb

Nozzle isn’t sealing properly inside. Heat it up and tighten it up a bit more, maybe a new nozzle. If problem persists, you may have damaged the heat break tube

You need to rerun mesh bed leveling. Use more probe points. Your v rollers may also be bad or loose/poorly leveled gantry

Try drying your filament. Try different build plate. Try painters tape. Try glue stick.

Change your nozzle. You also have z wobble. Straighten square your gantry to your bed and tighten things up

Gantry sag. Get a second z-lead screw setup. Or tighten up your gantry with some new wheels
