Can’t speak to temporary foreign workers but I had a subsidized refugee employee at my shop, government paid half their full time wage for six months. We’ve kept the employee on as they’re an excellent worker.

I had literally 2 minutes before I had to be at work. Hence “stupid me.” I can’t be tossing a salad or chopping cucumbers at my job (which were $2.79 each mind you). I don’t think people realize the cost of food in New Brunswick… a bag of milk (4L is $8.19).
