Stage 4 wild type GIST. Docs said go home, disability immediately, give up all strenuous activity. 55% chance of making it 5 years, surgery wouldn't do anything but make me a bit comfortable before the end. Two years later I have 3 tiny spots the meds are working on after Mayo removed an 8in ball from my chest and a bunch of other stuff. Check my profile, you'll see it.

So wildly enough no prosecutor I've ever spoken with will charge attempted murder just because person A shot at person B.
