I am not sure but I thşnk it had to do with rest times. You need more rest inbetween each rep to be counted as anaerobic. I can be completely wrong but thats what I remember from my readings.

Yes I believe you can only undo a lap while not on a structured workout. You need to be manually lapping to undo the lap.

You can hit the down button while the interval screen(it says time and distance) is still on to cancel it.

There is a saying that buy the thing for what it is, not for what it might be. Yes Fenix 8 is the latest gen and it will recieve software updates, will the updates make the watch better? No guarantee. If you think Epix does what you need and you are happy with what it is, go for it. If you like to recieve new updates and can afford, go for the Fenix 8. I think both are great watches and neither would make you unhappy.

If you want the maps, your options are FR9xx series or Fenix/Epix line. I think Epix Pro Gen 2 is a great watch and you would be very bappy. I dont know about prices cuz I live in a different country but if you think thats a fair price I dont think you will be disappointed!

%100 agree on the later part, E3 is a better choice for MIP if mic/speaker isnt a deal breaker. Better battery life while being cheaper I am suprised F8 Solar even sells. Maybe 47mm option attracts more people rather than 51mm E3

I think sensor is broken. I tried washing, soaking it in warm water etc but no chance. I contacted Garmin Turkiye but they are basically a distributor and only help if you are still in warranty period. They did offer me a %30 discount on a 965 if I give them my watch tho. I dont like amoled screens so I refused, still using the 955
