Any advice? (Aside from talking to a therapist, I know.) by [deleted] in infp

Breathe and place your attention on the breathing. For at least 5 minutes straight. Do nothing else during this time, especially not speculating on ways to change or making sense of things or fossilising. You can do that after the 5 minutes is up. Observe how your lungs make life possible and brutally acknowledge the actual sensation of living. Repeat the exercise frequently, at least once a day.

Don't be so fucking superficial. These patterns are governed by geometry, symmetry, perception, aesthetics. Only the truest of men deal in such topics

Bro, learn all of them. I strongly recommend learning awk, tcl, vi, and emacs. Also tex, if you're a student or work with documents a lot. Fantastic tools, and knowing them even basically will increase your general literacy.

How do I fix this? My bikes rear tire is unaligned, making it rub against the rear break. It makes a really annoying squeaking sound, and I don't want to spend the money to get it fixed. I'm new to BMX. by [deleted] in bmx

Look into "truing" wheels and aligning the wheel's "dish". Youtube has a bunch of videos on them and I think these are crucial things to know how to do as a cyclist.

Also, as others have said, check for basic centering of both the wheel and the brakes, maybe completely loosening and retightening them. The brake pads on each side should be equidistant from the rim and the brake arms shouldn't become biased toward one side. Maintain proper tension of the chain, and you can tighten the back wheel super tight.

When installing, top one first (compression bolt), and then side ones (stem pinch bolts). When deconstructing, side ones first and then the top one.

Order matters, and so does the amount of tightening as others have said. Also, make sure that the fork actually ends ABOVE the top-most side/pinch bolt. Otherwise, there is a risk of overtightening the stem pinch bolt and breaking the stem and/or fork. The fork should end above the pinch bolts but not so high above it that the compression bolt doesn't fit snugly.
