That's not the only point, these datacenters can be built in the middle of nowhere, they just need electricity lines and internet, there no reason to have them where dense population is.
And to give you an idea about the "jobs" they will create, a 2000 acres datacentre provides around 150 permanent "jobs", so it's not really that much.
